Historia
Joe Kenda investigated 387 murder cases during his 23 years with the Colorado Springs Police Department and solved almost all of them. And he is ready to detail the cases that are too gruesome to air on television, cases that still haunt him, and the few cases where the killer got away. These cases are horrifyingly real, and the detail is so mesmerizing you won't be able to turn it off.

No to Abridged Books!
Revisado: 01-20-18
I finished Savannah Blues and wanted the sequel. I was very disappointed. The only available audiobook was abridged. It was okay, but I missed the rambling, details of the first book.
The narrator was not good. Her southern accent was the pits. She made every male character sound like a doofus. Skip this and read the book.

Fate laughs at his good intentions and drives him straight into conflict with Miss Mirabel Oldridge, his match in tenacity, intelligence, and deviousness - who also happens to be wildly irresistible.

Good idea, doesn't deliver
Revisado: 05-18-15
What would have made Beach Rental better?
Better writing would have made this story better. The dialog was bland as was the action. The characters were all so sweet they made my face hurt.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Her voices were all the same. Boring!
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
This storyline was a good idea, it just needed better writing to carry it off.

Boring! Didn't bother finishing.
Revisado: 04-09-15
What disappointed you about The Scandalous Adventures of the Sister of the Bride?
I was disappointed with the dialog. The characters talked, but didn't really say much. There was no tension between the hero and heroine.
What was most disappointing about Victoria Alexander’s story?
The whole premise of the story was that the hero/heroine are meeting each other after a night of passion. From what I heard of the heroine, this was highly unlikely. I just couldn't see her getting over herself enough to do something like that.
What didn’t you like about Susan Duerden’s performance?
She made the hero sound like he was on downers.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
I can't think of any.

Jeanette Learns Her Lesson
Revisado: 04-14-14
What did you love best about The Wife Trap?
I loved the way Jeanette and Darragh sparred with each other in their game of wills.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Wife Trap?
When Jeanette drew a less than flattering picture of Darragh.
What about Bianca Amato’s performance did you like?
The way she could differentiate each of the voices. I love her English accent.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Does she or doesn't she? Only her husband knows for sure.
