Historia
It’s estimated that there are over 50 million pensioners - in the United States alone. Like the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Italy, Germany and many other countries around the world are all in big trouble when it comes to the solvency of their pension funds. Who Stole My Pension? was written to give them guidance, resources, and tools so they can take action...and stop the looting.

Siedle’s stuff is interesting
Revisado: 04-29-25
But I don’t know what this other stuff is. It’s like reading a really interesting book full of good information about a crucial topic interspersed with boring rehash crap you’ve already read 1000 times. Why is this even a thing?

Historia
On April 23, 1984, in a packed press conference room in Washington, DC, the secretary of health and human services declared “The probable cause of AIDS has been found.” By the next day, “probable” had fallen away, and the novel retrovirus later named HIV became forever lodged in global consciousness as “the AIDS virus.” Celia Farber, then an intrepid young reporter for SPIN magazine, was the only journalist to question the official narrative and dig into the science of AIDS.

Historia
Education is in bad shape in America and beyond today. It’s obvious. Everyone perceives it. Something is going badly wrong in our schools. Our children aren’t learning as they should be. Their mastery of core academic curriculum like reading, writing, history, mathematics, science, and civics has declined to crisis levels and shows no signs of improvement. Meanwhile, they’re all learning to be activists, turning their backs on their nations, societies, and even their parents and religions.

Brilliant!
Revisado: 01-08-23
Absolutely crucial read. Other books on this topic use a lot of technical language and are harder to get through. This one actually uses understandable language and tells you what to look for. It is full of practical actionable advice for people who want to protect their kids and themselves from ideological indoctrination. Even if you suspect you will not agree with Dr. Lindsay, you should read this book.

I really appreciate this very balanced and intelligent perspective presented here. While this book is quite critical of progressive activists it actually made me a little more sympathetic to their plight

Historia
In this final volume of a towering work that is both literary masterpiece and living memorial to the untold millions of Soviet martyrs, Solzhenitsyn's epic narrative moves to its astounding and unforseen climax. We now see that this great cathedral of a book not only commemorates those massed victims but celebrates the unquenched spirit of resistance that flickered and then burst into flame even in Stalin's "special camps."

Historia
We are living through the most prosperous age in all of human history, yet we are listless, divided, and miserable. Wealth and comfort are unparalleled, but our political landscape is unmoored, and rates of suicide, loneliness, and chronic illness continue to skyrocket. How do we explain the gap between these truths? And how should we respond? For evolutionary biologists Heather Heying and Bret Weinstein, the cause of our troubles is clear: The accelerating rate of change in the modern world has outstripped the capacity of our brains and bodies to adapt.

Historia
Teenage girls are taking courses of testosterone and disfiguring their bodies. Parents are undermined; experts are over-relied upon; dissenters in science and medicine are intimidated; free speech truckles under renewed attack; socialized medicine bears hidden consequences; and an intersectional era has arisen in which the desire to escape a dominant identity encourages individuals to take cover in victim groups. Every person who has ever had a skeptical thought about the sudden rush toward a non-binary future but been afraid to express it - this book is for you.

Deserves Pulitzer
Revisado: 03-31-21
I don’t think I have ever read another book that so clearly deserves a Pulitzer and so clearly will never get one in a million years.
I have several friends who have transitioned and I have always done my best to be a supportive friend . I honestly thought these kids were actually getting real info from their doctors and counselors. I thought they were getting info about the cons as well as the pros. I was wrong. I don’t think I was wrong to be supportive of the people who I care about but, I will never make that assumption that professionals know what they are talking about again.

In this masterpiece, Solzhenitsyn has orchestrated thousands of incidents and individual histories into one narrative of unflagging power and momentum. Written in a tone that encompasses Olympian wrath, bitter calm, savage irony, and sheer comedy, it combines history, autobiography, documentary, and political analysis as it examines in its totality the Soviet apparatus of repression from its inception following the October Revolution of 1917.

Must read
Revisado: 02-13-21
After Minneapolis was set on fire this summer, I wrote up a Facebook post that said that this sounds like Antifa and half of my friends disagreed with me - though they were kind about it. One is a sweet old lady who lives in a small town who pointed out that antifa stands for anti-fascist and that makes them good people.
Another Pointed out all of the great volunteer work they do, a third is a regular marcher in BLM protests who pointed out “right-wing” groups like the boogaloo boys who she was certain had done the damage because antifa just would not do any such thing. Another lives in Portland and is quite certain that all of the damage has been done by the proud boys.
It is an uphill battle trying to convince people of this threat. This book will help.

In The Madness of Crowds Douglas Murray investigates the dangers of ‘woke’ culture and the rise of identity politics. In lively, razor-sharp prose he examines the most controversial issues of our moment: sexuality, gender, technology and race, with interludes on the Marxist foundations of ‘wokeness’, the impact of tech and how, in an increasingly online culture, we must relearn the ability to forgive.

It also includes an erudite British person dramatically reading crunk lyrics.
