Historia
I'm a doctor and a researcher. My pack is small, in a quiet part of central Texas. It's a simple existence, and I like it that way. It's just me and my two besties, living our best single lives. That is until the mandate comes. Every unmated wolf in the entire world called to one place. I'm a psi, the weakest designation there is. I can barely shift, and there's no chance of me getting matched—only humiliated. It can't get worse—until it does. I've barely made it off the bus when I lock eyes with the hottest wolf I've ever seen, and he reeks of power.

Awful
Revisado: 11-30-24
If you like smut , not even good smut. Just crass. A friends to lovers? Please... The author didn't even give them any kind of conversation before wanting to throw them into bed together. There was absolutely no storyline. And the female Narrator draws out her all of her words, completely annoying. And the male Narrator needs to figure out how to do a female voice. He sounds like a drag queen. If I could give it zero stars, I would. What a waste of money and time.

The very boring and unemotional narrative
Revisado: 09-18-24
The narration of this book was atrocious. Had the wrong inflections in the wrong places. And sounded very mechanical throughout.
For the writing? Book jumped from one scene to the next and had you rewinding to make sure you didn't miss something. Continuously introduced new characters out of nowhere. No world building so you can't really connect to the characters. I won't be bothering myself with any other AI narrated books in the future. And I'm sorry but I won't be listening or reading another of this author s books.

Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders. But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away...because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them.

Well written.
Revisado: 08-27-24
The story was well written. I actually enjoyed listening to it. Most of the main characters were well thought out. There were a few chezzy areas but not enough to throw my device against the wall.
The only reason I am giving it a three star instead of four is because I wa expecting a little less romance. I'm more of a meat and potato kind less for dessert.

The performance was pretty good. But, I really liked the first book better. This one seemed a little more far fetched. Less believable.

Revisado: 01-25-24
If you're going for any kind of substance, this isn't it. Very young adult. Like the author needs a little more life experiences to be able to write a novel. Sorry just my opinion.

Revisado: 01-10-24
I tried twice. But, I just couldn't listen to it anymore. The relationship between Silver and Logan is so unbelievable and the conversations between them is just not anywhere close to be real. I was to frustrated with the characters of the whole book.

This is the best series I've ever read and heard.
I compare all other series by the fever series. I've read them twice and just started listening to them. However, I fell that the narrator doesn't do Barron justice. she makes him sound like an old man.

For nearly four-hundred years, the Veil has protected us from the Fae of Alfheimr. In their absence, our lives have shifted from decadence and sin to survival and virtue under the guidance of the New Gods. I’ve spent my entire life tending to the gardens next to the boundary between our worlds, drawn to the shimmering magic like a moth to the flame. All of that changes the day the Veil shatters, unleashing the fae upon our world once again.

DNF. Don't Waste Your Time
Revisado: 08-17-23
I was excited to start a new series, with a new author. And this book sounded interesting. It was going great. Until they reached the barn.
And that's where it took a left turn.
It became very explicit in the sex department. With the storyline going out the window. I'm a female over the age of 50, and I'm not a prude. But, when you ruin a perfectly good book by just throwing a bunch of sex in it and forgetting where the story was supposed to be headed, What a disappointment. So if you want more storyline unless sex this book is not for you. I don't recommend it. don't waste your time and your hard-earned money

Love it,But..
Revisado: 08-05-23
I love this series. It's very intense. And the narrator is excellent. However, I think that in this day and age ( and it's been this way for at least 30 years) that the author could refrain from using Retaraded in such a derogatory way.. It's offensive. Would she use the 'N' word? No because it's offensive. But, throughout the book she continually uses Retaraded.
Get it together please
