I really wanted to like the story. It didn't fit what I thought it was going to be. None of the Characters were likeable, but they were very real. I don't really have a reason for being disappointed. I just was.

Time travel story winner!

With the time travelers wife being one of my favorite books, I'm so picky about time travel stories going wrong. this one did everything right! I love how the sides of the story are told between the mmc and fmc, and the ending was absolutely perfect without any plot gaps. I honestly want a physical copy of this book as a trophy!

kind of confusing to follow

I loved the story, but found it super irritating that it didn't fit the story line of the first book even with the same characters. different timing of the season, some characters were at different points of their relationship with the story line. it felt a little sloppy.

I loved everything about these stories. I read them previously, and the audiobook was just as enticing. I felt like the male voice actor was 100% spot on. The female reader was great, but it grated on my nerves a little when she had to portray male character in a growls voice. Thankfully that wasn't too often.

Having read these books I had high expectations for the audiobook, and was not disappointed! Ellie was brought to life! I still wish more of this book came from Abraham's perspective, but it's such a great telling from the singular perspective!
