This was such a good book. Ezra and Savannah's story was so twisty and sad at times. But it was tied up pretty well at the end, so youre really only left wondering about some of the side characcharacters "whats next". Little Olivia was my very favorite. I listen to the audio version because I can't sit still enough to enjoy reading. Narrated by Zachary Webber specifically, he brought her to life and I couldn't get enough of her in this story. Aside from her, the book was fantastic as well. Great narration. The only thing I felt was lacking is that it's not real clear when the female character is reading a journal entry, there's nothing to say it's a journal entry ahead of reading it. There's not a distinct enough difference between the narrators voice between reading entries and the rest of the story. I can't wait to get into the next book in the series and I hope to hear more about some of the side characters in this one that I became invested into.

This book was SO good. It had it all. Romance, Mystery, suspense, strong independent heroine, perfect hero, narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon. You cannot go wrong with a Teddy book, i cant get enough of his narrations. Erin is a super enjoy in small doses narrator for me. like if a whole series was her, I couldn't binge listen to her voice for all the books in a row without breaks, Teddy, I could. It would certainly help it it were narrated in duet, because while Teddy does fantastic male & female voices, imo, Erin is good at female, and not great at male, in my opinion. That's what would make it a narration 5☆.
The story: Shep is husband goals. Like too good to be true, not a thing wrong with that man. And I can't wait to hear more about this couple in future books in this series.

This book was everything. A fairly common trope with the whole fake bf thing, but different to all that I've listened to so far. I don't want to give any spoilers because I feel like it's well worth a credit and I can't imagine anyone being disappointed by the purchase. Andi Arndt was fantastic as per her usual. She is one of the few female narrators who's male voice also never disappoints. I love that she has such a range of voices that everyone had their own within the book even though they're all performed by Andi. She is fantastic. I will be looking for more Kylie Scott books, as I believe this is only my 2nd listen of hers.

This book has everything. Small town, comedy, suspense, friends little sister. Really well written, and performed by 2 of the best narrators in the industry. I was amazed by even the smallest of details nailed by Zachary Webber- down to the voice distortion from wearing a mask on a job site. This one will definitly be added to my "Re-listen" collection.

I listened to this as a stand alone, and though I will probably, eventually listen to the whole series, this book felt like it tied up all the loose ends enough that I don't feel like I have to go running for another book in the series immediately. It was not lacking in banter or drama, but it was so well written and performed that it just flowed nicely. Andy Arndt and Zachary Webber always bring their A game and they did not disappoint. It was fantastic.

The story was very well written and even better performed. Joe and Maxine can't be beat for a series with this kind of emotion and depth. Of course, I had to relisten to the Ravenhood Trilogy before starting this, and because of that and then this book all being binged over a span of a little over a week- I'm pretty wrecked. I'm glad I relistened to the others though before starting this book, because I don't think this one alone would've re-capped enough, however it did answer questions I had after the other 3 and filled in a lot of gaps, while still leaving me wanting more. Kate is an expert at that. She gave 'just enough' of an ending to still be anxious for a continuation of this new series. I selfishly hope that it doesn't take too long for book 2 in the Legacy series because that's a lot of hours of relistening I'll probably have to do again, because I'm an aidiobook addict and I can't stop, won't stop listening to other books/authors while I wait. lol.

Emma & Joe did great narrating as per usual. The story was a cutesy Jewish instalove kind. Im not Jewish, but I love that the book world is so inclusive so that this kind of story is available to those specifically looking for it. I usually listen to much longer books, so it was strange to have a book so quickly reach a HEA or even a HFN. I do feel like the book itself was very close to others I have read/listened to, but with Jewish culture and a whole lot less drama, making it a very quick listen. I don't use credits on books this short so I don't think it's worth a whole credit, but I would consider a 2 for 1 credit sale or just paying a couple bucks for the book vs using a credit. It's not that it wasn't good enough, I'm just cheap because I listen so often I have to be strict about how I use my credits or I will go bankrupt.

Kate + Joe & Maxine = Perfection, again!

They did it again- this incredible trio of talented
artists brought us an audiobook that gives you ALL of
the feels. Not only was it a great book of its own, but
it gave me a whole new love for book 1 in the series,
filling in a lot of gaps from Nate's point of view. Your
heart is not only ripped out and put back together for
Natalie & Easton but also for Nate & Stella & many
members of their separate families. Much like the
Ravenhood Series, by Kate Stewart, these books are
a whole performance- there are so many side
characters with developing stories within the story
that there is a lot of opportunity for the series to
continue growing as Kate (hopefully) gives each
character their own heartbreaking and healing book
of their own. (of course, casting Joe and Maxine as
much as possible) KATE: you are a fantastic
writer. May you never stop writing captivating
stories.
JOE & MAXINE- you both f*cking rock! Seriously- the
emotion you both brought to this story makes the
rest of us FEEL the story, like no other power team of
narrators ever has. (I know I speak for many when I
say that). I hope you never stop bringing books to life.

Was not expecting Paranormal

First of all, the performance was fantastic. The accents and voice changes for each character was so good. This author is new to me, so I went in sort of blind. I did read a few reviews, and I chose to use a credit, based on the few reviews I read. I like suspenseful stories, obviously smexy romance stories, but I'm not a big fan of paranormal. The book was not paranormal in its entirety, so I felt kind of "tricked" into it, as that element was sort of snuck into the book. I don't know how I feel about that, I feel like it's the kind of story I need to be emotionally prepared for, and I wasn't. It's definitely something I couldn't listen to before bed, and it is hard to multitask while listening because it's easy to miss stuff as there seems to be a lot of jumping around on the timing that I didn't pick up on or understand until the ending, when everything was better explained. With all of this said, the story was well written and I will probably look into more of the authors work, but this particular story was not exactly my favorite. Weirdly, I would still consider it an HEA, and the music at the end made me giggle.

I got this book during an audible sale, the narration was great but there were parts of the story that were unrealistic. *****spoiler alert**** if a man is with a woman off and on and said woman gets pregnant, and then you stick with her off on and provide for child, one would think paternity would be tested, before the child is 3 years old. Especially knowing that the couple was just friends (with benefits) and not "together".

Since it's a duet (2 book series), it ended on a cliffhanger, so I do feel like I need to use a credit on book 2. Now there's an option to buy or use a credit for the set of 2. I would say that the duet is worth a credit if both books come for one credit, but not worth 2 seperate credits.
