I was not ready!!! I thought I was, but I was soooo not ready!

Omg! Omg! O.M.G!!!!

This the third and final book in the trilogy. And boy did it close things off so nicely for all of us dedicated fans 🥵

Book 3 picks up right after Book 2’s ending, which is when Lisane is taken from Rhaim. We get so much character development in this book for both of our beloved main characters. There is magic, there is love, there is hot steam with Rhaim and Lisane. But more importantly, we get our happy ending for them.

Once again, the audiobook was amazing!! Both Matthew Holland and Victoria Mei return to voice Rhaim and Lisane. And if you liked them in the first two books, you are absolutely going to fall in love with them all over again with their portrayal of our beloved characters in this book. Mathew was able to amazingly portray Rhaim as our beloved anti-hero who really finds himself in this world. Victoria showed us just how much of a badass Lisane truly is! The did such a great job putting us back into their world and made every character come alive. They absolutely killed the narration and I’m so happy that they were chosen for these two characters 🖤

All Inn Thyme was such a good and I knew that I was going to love it solely based on how much I loved the two previous books!

The story revolves around Mellie and Ty. These are characters we meet in the first two books. At first I was so sad that Mellie’s love interest wasn’t Preston but that quickly ended because Mellie and Ty were meant to be!

“I have no idea what he (Ty) was fixing, but mine was broken” -Mellie

Goodness gracious! The chemistry between Mel and Ty was superb! Only made better by the narrators! We have Chris Brinkley as Ty and Sophia Daniels as Mellie. Their voices elevated the chemistry between our two main characters and took us into the world of Freedom Valley.

Sophia did an amazing job with showing us all the emotions that Mel is going through and how her past trauma is still affecting her. You can really feel her fears and worries when her voice comes up. And then you have Chris... He was amazing as Ty. My favorite voice from the three audiobooks so far! His voice had just right amount of emotion in it to make us fall in love with Ty. He portrayed not only his love for, Mel but also feel the possessiveness when he saw her with Preston. The way his inner monologue flowed when learning about her past!!! I enjoyed not only the plot for this book but the narration for it as well.

The story, holy moly the story!! Mellie is a single mom dealing with her past trauma with her abusive husband. She’s on the run and is in hiding. Evan from book one, is the only one aware of her situation and has helped her restart her life along with her little boy. Ty is an undercover agent that for obvious reasons has to withhold the truth from Mel about why he’s in town.

The story takes us on a journey of learning to heal, trust and love again with Mellie and Ty. Erin Branscom is an amazing writer that really knows how to pull at our heart strings. I absolutely devoured this audiobook and I’m excited to see if the fourth one in the series gets an audiobook as well!

Omg! Omg, omg!! I am absolutely destroyed! I cannot. I simply cannot. This book put me through an emotional rollercoaster. This is my first Brit Benson book and holy crap!! That author can write!

The Love of My Next Life follows the love story (tragic love story) of Macon and Lennon.

Lennon is the good girl. The innocent girl. The girl in love with he best friend’s brother. The girl who bends and turn at the whim of her best friend. The quiet and selfless friend that is always so worried about everyone around her and leaves her feelings and wants dead last. But when it comes to Macon, she is her true self around him. And he seems to be the only person in world who truly sees her for who she is. A strong and independent woman.

Macon is… an enigma. From the very beginning I was obsessed with his damaged and toxic soul. Macon is cruel at time and trouble all in one. But he is in love with Lennon and he loves to make her realized she has not been true to herself. He is completely misunderstood by everyone around him, especially his sister (Lennon’s best friend). He is so much more than what people think of him but no one gives him the opportunity to show them the other side of him.

They’ve known each other for years and there have been hints here and there of his attraction to him but things become more and more visible for both parities. Their attraction grows and they begin a secret relationship. The narrators for this audiobook did it so much justice! It was so easy to fall in love with these characters. JF Harding did an amazing voicing Macon. He truly showed all the trauma and love inside of that man. His voice felt so full of emotion whether he was talking to Lennon or voicing his inner thoughts. Lidia Dornet portrayed Lennon perfectly! She really showed her innocence, her struggles and her anger. Her conversations with Macon were amazingly voice! This is book one of two and you do not want to miss out. That ending had me at the end of me seat! Do yourself a favor and get yourself this audiobook! You will not regret it.

Guys. Guys!!! If you thought book 1 of the series was good, holy crap! Book 2 takes the freaken cake. Not only was the continued story amazing, but the relationship between Rhaim and Lisane becomes so much more. Mrs Cassie Alexander did it again and gave us a freaken masterpiece!

While she focused on the world building during the first book, the second book focuses on the ever growing relationship between Rhaim and Lisane. This book shows us love, anger, desire, betrayal and so much more! And if you know me, you know I am all about the spice. Well, this book was definitely a lot spicier than the first book.

Once again, the audiobook was fire 🔥🔥🔥!! Both Matthew Holland and Victoria Mei return to voice Rhaim and Lisane. And if you liked them in book 1, you are absolutely going to adore them and fall in love with their portrayal of our beloved characters in this book. Wow! Just wow!! This was my first book by Cassie Alexander and let me tel you… it will most definitely not be my last.

The world building in this book is incredible. Cassie does a great job of setting us up with everything we need right off the bat and never strays into area that leave the reading wondering what happened.

The story of Rhaim and Lisane is a mind blowing experience.

The story of Rhaim, the beast falling for the princess who is destined to be his downfall, and Lisane who was traded off by her father without her knowledge. There is so much push and pull with these two but it’s soooo worth it. The angst, the sexual tension, the trust!! I absolutely enjoyed the heck out of this book. The

The audiobook was fire 🔥🔥🔥!! Both narrators did such an amazing job portraying the Emi this of these characters. Rhaim was narrated by Matthew Holland and Lisane was narrated by Victoria Mei. And let me tell you that they fit their roles perfectly! Each time there was that push and pull, they did a great job using their voice to push all those feeling to their audience. Absolutely killed it! I am definitely looking forward to the second book, Break Her 🖤

⚓️ Small Town
⚓️ Reverse Age Gap
⚓️ Instant Attraction
⚓️ 90s Vibes

Miss Karen Grey, what did you put in this book?? I am so obsessed! The overall story is amazing! It’s a small town romance, with amazing characters! There is so much character development that it’s insane, actually insane how smoothy the book goes. Helen O’Neill is grumpy, older boss lady. Sullivan “Sully” Calloway is the younger, go with the flow, I follow no rules but the ones on my boat type, new assistant. There is instant attraction but O’Neill refuses to go there due to her role as the boss and not wanting to cross this lines. She is so committed to this that she lies to Sully about being married!! That’s how much she wanted to protect her career (and I personally felt that!!!!!). This doesn’t last long and the two eventually begin a romantic relationship but they have so many ups and downs that really make them reevaluate what they want for themselves, and for their relationship.

As an audiobook, the narrators killed it! Sully is voiced by J.F. Harding and O’Neill is voiced by Mackenzie Cartwright. And let me tell you, the chemistry was there! The audiobook goes back and forth between Sully and O’Neill and the narrators did such a wonderful job with the transitions that it felt so natural while listening. Mr. Harding’s voice was so catchy that I was falling in love with Sully after each one of his chapters. He did such a great job portraying all the emotions Sully was going through in his own life and with O’Neill. The scene where he rescues her from the man at the bar *fans myself* that voice had me gushing. Mackenzie portrayed the strong and independent O’Neill perfectly and did an amazing job showing her vulnerable side. No only did they kill voicing the main characters but they also did a great job portraying secondary characters as well. Oh and the quotes at the start of each chapter… obsessed!! I love how they’re presented them in the audiobook. It was absolutely one of my favorite parts. I loved how they were words of wisdom/inspirational quotes that really pulled at the audience’s heartstrings.

Falling Inn Love was such a good read and I knew that Baked Inn Love would be just as great. What I was not prepared for was for it to be such a good audio book! The audio book is narrated by Thomas Locklear and Keira Stevens. And holy smokes, the chemistry they have in this book is gooood!

Keira did such a great job with showing us all the emotions that Ally is going through. You can really feel her self doubt, her worries and her love when listening to her chapters. And then you have Thomas… oh Thomas. He was amazing as our Logan. His voice had just right amount of emotion in it to make us fall in love with Logan but also feel the possessiveness and love he has for Ally. I enjoyed the narration for the book.

Now the story, holy smokes the story. Ally is a single mom dealing with her baby boy revering from surgery and dealing with a dead beat dad who is trying to take over custody for her son. All the while, the dad has no idea who his son is and hasn’t even met him! Such a rollercoaster of emotions right off the bat.

The story takes us on an across the country journey with Logan and Ally. While they get to know each other, they completely fall head over heels and Logan will do anything to help Ally keep her family together. This is where all the drama comes in and I was soooo here for it. Erin Branscom is an amazing writer that really knows how to pull at our heart strings. I absolutely devoured this audiobook and I’m excited to see if the third one in the series gets an audiobook as well!

Whiskey lies was an overall great story! It hit all the tropes and made me feel some type of way. Brittannee Nicole really did a wonderful job hooking us in, but also keeping us engaged. I was ready for this book! I was ready to fall in love with the story and say I enjoyed it.

What I was not ready for was the narration of this book! Holy smokes… and a bag of chips!! This was one of the best narrated books I have listened to!! The voices were everything… and I truly mean EVERYTHING!!

Joe Arden was the narrator for Cash, while Grace was narrated by Lucy Rivers. And let me tell you, they both delivered a freaken performance! A very unforgettable performance. I mean guys… have you even heard Joe Arden’s narrations? I sure have, and I knew I’d enjoy his portrayal of Cash, but holy crap was I not prepared to fall in love with this man’s voice at all!! He did such a grate job portraying just how much Cash truly loved and cherished Grace throughout the entire book, which is 46 chapters! Lucy Rivers was an amazing Grace and really delivered on the emotion one would expect from someone going through so much tragedy and life changing experiences.

Whiskey lies is an emotional read. It will make you sad, make you angry and excited all at the same time. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and even though I am fuming at the cliffhanger, I know that will be listening to the audiobook for book 1 as soon as it is available. GO CHECK THIS AUDIOBOOK OUT!! Even if you have read the paperback or the ebook, the audiobook will hit soooo different. PLUS… you get to hear all the steamy scenes out loud!!!! GO GO GO!!!

Tropes:
❣️ Dark Romance
❣️ Found Family
❣️ Mafia-esque
❣️ Kidnapping
❣️ S** Trafficking

Holy molyyyyy!! I was not expecting trafficking to be part of this book. Let alone that Wren’s father was involved in it. That completely threw me for a loop but it made the story so much better for Lex’s mission to get Wren back.

This book was wayyyy spicier than the first one and I am NOT MAD ABOUT IT lol

The chemistry that Joe Arden and Lucy Rivers had was INCREDIBLE! It made the whole audiobook that much better!

The trauma that Wren has to go through is so painful. And the helplessness that Lex feels not being able to help her is just as painful. Joe did an amazing job getting us to feel the pain the Lex was feeling and had us hooked on every last word he said throughout the entire book.

Lex and Wren are meant to be together and it’s so crazy how Ria Wilde accomplishes this through the book. Let alone how amazing Lucy’s portrayal of Wren is in the audiobook. Wren comes out of it as more of a badass than anything and learns to be herself in the process and Lucy’s voice really got us to feel like she grew so much from book one to now!

“Let me love you little bird…” - Lex (Joe Arden)

“You’re a valentine Wren.” - Lex (Joe Arden)
“No I’m not. I am a f*cken Silver.” - Wren (Lucy Rivers)

Ria Wilde did such a great job at showing character growth with both Wren and Lex and had me falling in love with their love all over again. The narration was AMAZING and really hit me in the feels. This completes the Twisted Duet, but you bet your ass that I’ll be picking up all of the other books in this world ❣️
