Historia
Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.

Such an insightful book

This should be one of those foundational books when it comes to personal finance. It gives you a broader look of how people interact and function with and because of money.

Historia
In The War on the West, Douglas Murray shows how many well-meaning people have been fooled by hypocritical and inconsistent anti-West rhetoric. After all, if we must discard the ideas of Kant, Hume, and Mill for their opinions on race, shouldn’t we discard Marx, whose work is peppered with racial slurs and anti-Semitism? Embers of racism remain to be stamped out in America, but what about the raging racist inferno in the Middle East and Asia?

Historia
In a scrap heap within an abandoned factory, the greatest invention in history lies dormant and unused. By what fatal error of judgment has its value gone unrecognized, its brilliant inventor punished rather than rewarded for his efforts? In defense of those greatest of human qualities that have made civilization possible, one man sets out to show what would happen to the world if all the heroes of innovation and industry went on strike.

The best book most people will never read
Revisado: 05-16-22
This is Ayn Rand's Magnum Opus for a reason. Great story and definition of the evils of marxist/socialist practices when put into play. Most people will never read this book nor its summary, and that's a shame.
Could Ayn Rand have condensed or summarized things more? Yeah, for sure, but not doing it shows the power this woman had for expression.

Historia
Intellectuals and Race is a radical book in the original sense - one that goes to the root of the problem. The role of intellectuals in racial strife is explored in an international context that puts the American experience in a wholly new light. The book explores the incentives, the visions, and the rationales that drive intellectuals at the highest levels to conclusions that have often turned out to be counterproductive and even disastrous, not only for particular racial or ethnic groups but for societies as a whole.

Read. This. Book.
Revisado: 05-06-21
This book alone dismantle the gibberish that comes out of clowns like Ibram Kendi, Don Lemon, AOC and Kamala Harris. I'm convinced that if more people read Thomas Sowell, we wouldn't be in a situation like the one we have been in years, specially in 2021, with so many people stuck with their victim mentality and illogical ideologies.
There is a race industry in the US that seeks only to perpetuate itself, and which doesn't care about facts or history. Read this book.

Historia
In The Madness of Crowds Douglas Murray investigates the dangers of ‘woke’ culture and the rise of identity politics. In lively, razor-sharp prose he examines the most controversial issues of our moment: sexuality, gender, technology and race, with interludes on the Marxist foundations of ‘wokeness’, the impact of tech and how, in an increasingly online culture, we must relearn the ability to forgive.

You should read this book
Revisado: 01-05-21
This is one of those books that should be required reading for everyone. It explains (with examples) the ridiculousness and contradictions of the leftist ideologies. I'm confident that if more people read this, the sooner we will get out of the black hole that is leftism and their nonsensical arguments.
I have it only 4 stars in performance because of how the book is categorized in Audible. Big, long chapters without sub-chapters are harder to grasp and progress through.

Discrimination and Disparities challenges believers in such one-factor explanations of economic outcome differences as discrimination, exploitation, or genetics. It is listenable enough for people with no prior knowledge of economics. Yet the empirical evidence with which it backs up its analysis spans the globe and challenges beliefs across the ideological spectrum.

Great book! Tons of facts and data that shows potential real reasons to these issues.
I gave it 4stars because it's weirdly organized. Some long chapters without any sub-chapters make it harder to continue reading when stopping. However, that's doesn't affect the content nor the quality of the book

A professor at Concordia University who has witnessed this troubling epidemic firsthand, Dr. Saad dissects a multitude of these concerning forces (corrupt thought patterns, belief systems, attitudes, etc.) that have given rise to a stifling political correctness in our society.

Revisado: 10-20-20
Do yourself a favor, and read this book. It is incredibly relevant in 2020 and I believe it will continue to be for years to come. Many misguided and baseless progressive ideologies are carefully taken apart by nothing less than cold, hard facts. Truth is a hard pill to swallow for people not humble enough.
It's time we go back to an era where truth matter above anything else. I will forever thank Gad Saad for showing us that there truly is a way out of this nonsense.

Humorous, surprising, and informative, Dr. Peterson tells us why skateboarding boys and girls must be left alone, what terrible fate awaits those who criticize too easily, and why you should always pet a cat when you meet one on the street.

Revisado: 08-21-20
This is the kind of book that everyone can benefit from. People say the author is a "closeted Christian" and I disagree... He is not closeted at all. He mentions religion heavily in this book, but that didn't matter to me (an atheist) because that's not the point of the book!
There's so much to learn from this book.

Historia
