I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan and I love that I can hear the story without having to read it. Stephen Fry does an amazing job of the voices (the females not so much) but especially Hagrid and Dumbledore. I can't wait to listen to the next one.

Friends Forever

I am a Friends addict! I have watched all 10 seasons at least 30 times. I know every line. So when I saw that Chandler had written a memoir... I had to get it. I must be honest, this book was not what I expected. Don't get me wrong, it is very good, but I was just expecting more laughs and fun. It turns out that one of my favorite T.V characters was really struggling while we laughed and enjoyed his sarcasm on screen. This book is more of a what not to do in terms of alcohol and drugs. It is literally a count the times I have been in rehab and almost died kind of book and while it is entertaining and very well written, it is very sad and heartbreaking. It almost makes Friends difficult to watch now. I hope others learn from Matthew Perry's mistakes and I truly hope that he gets well. Addiction is a very scary disease and this book really delves into the darkest parts of it. I think this book took balls to write... good for you Matthew Perry!

I Love This Man!

I am such a huge fan! When I saw this audiobook I couldn't wait to dive in. I loved that I got to go on this behind the scenes ride with Michael J Fox himself. I learned allot about him that I did not know and I was shocked that his Parkinsons troubles started so much sooner than I knew about. Hearing him read the words really gives the listener a feeling of what Michael J Fox went through. I cried, I laughed, I got goosebumps... I loved it. The book is also so well written, I was surprised at how good it was. Hearing his amazing, familiar "Stuart Little" voice describe personal moments, highs and lows of his amazing life, brought me right back to my childhood, as a matter of fact... I'm about to watch the Back to the Future Trilogy again for the 100th time!

Not Hans Christian Anderson's story

I understand that this story has been edited to be kid friendly but it has been modified so much that there is almost no resemblance to the original! And the ending is so gooey, I almost barfed! When I was little, I watched the original movie and read the real story, so I am not happy that this kiddie version has been changed so much.

Not funny!

I am pretty sure this book so supposed to be funny... it wasn't. The author tried way too hard and the jokes don't land at all. I also found the narrator annoying. The book was pointless and really just boring. Instead of enjoying it, I couldn't wait for it to end.

Joe Kenda... my new super hero!

I absolutely loved this book. I was hooked from the 1st chapter. Joe Kenda is so cool and charismatic with such a calm demeanor. The stories were so interesting and I learnt so much about the law and criminal procedures. I am obsessed with Kenda's one liners and cannot wait to move on to the next book.
