The twist and turns, delightful and intriguing.

I love historical fiction, I have been to Edinburgh Scotland twice, and I enjoyed following along and visualizing where they were, and even knowing what a "close" was. The story was well written and believable. Many heart wrenching part, tears and laughter; with a number of surprises/twists at the end. Enjoy! I enjoyed the narrator. My first book by Susanna Kearsley, a very gifted writer.

One couldn't help but be touched by this heartwarming story of tears, laughter and joy. The older one becomes the more "Fred and this story" has encircled you or loved ones you know or have known. Excellent listening. Thank you .

Great story and narration

I love the innocence amongst all the killing/killers! How does one love assassins? Great story, It could continue on in the series. I would like the young boy with no language of his own to have been healed and made whole again.

Regan Walker, an amazing piece so compelling .

I don't think I dared to breath throughout the entirety of the story. I am so grateful for this authors ability to keep us on edge and tell an amazing story. I am sorry it is over, but excited to be introduced to Regan Walker and his other books. I gave the performance a 5 as once I got used to " virtual voice", I felt it was a good job. I loved this tale of friendship woven amidst the battle for Scotland's independence. Well done!

I really enjoyed the set.

I especially enjoyed books one and three. I became more enthusiastic as I leave on the boarder of Renton and Newcastle., so it was fun to know the places that were talked about. I felt it was well written and great narrative. I didn't particularly like the dwarfs speak, although I liked the dwarfs, I felt it didn't fit into the period. All in all I love the set, great story as well as characters. Thanks!

Both the author and narrator are outstanding!

The Northern Wolf series, books 1-5: I love historical fiction, and this series is excellent. I especially liked when the author speaks of his fact finding and references at the end of some of his books. I didn't want the books end, The characters live in you and you just want more. Thank you Mr. Greene for this incredible series, well done!

Excellent piece of historical fiction

I loved this story, it kept you laughing and crying.
The narrator brought it to life! I didn't want it to end. Well the ending was written like there could be a part two. worth the read.

I loved the whole series

I feel the travel to the far east took up more of book 11 than I would have liked and Hrald's tale was surprising to say the least.
I love the series 5 stars as a whole.
