Historia
In the summer of 2020, America was under siege by radical antifa actors across the country. But if you were only reading mainstream headlines, you probably have no idea just how bad it really was. As homes and businesses were being burned to the ground and livelihoods were being destroyed, corporate media engaged in a full-scale attempt to gaslight the American people, pushing Orwellian narratives about the violent riots by mislabeling them as peaceful, democratic demonstrations, all seemingly to bolster their biased political views.

Nice to hear the facts!
Revisado: 05-08-22
After hearing so many lies and conflicting stories through out the riots of 2020 it was great to here a first hand account from someone who was there. I feel like I have a reputable resource for my children when they are older to see what really happened. thanks for this book and to the Daily Wire for recommending it!

Historia
Curious to see if people on the other side of the globe walk upside down, Robert, Anthea, Cyril, Jane, and their baby brother start digging a hole to Australia. They don’t get too far, however, before they dig up a furry brown creature with bat’s ears. It is a Psammead, an ancient sand-fairy. The Sammyadd, as the children call it, grumpily tells them that he is obliged to grant their wishes, because making people’s wishes come true is what Sandfairies do. However, there is one catch: The wishes come undone at sunset.

Romantic, tragic, fascinating, beautiful
Revisado: 05-08-20
I chose the book only because the reader was Joanne Froggart, but I was completely captivated by the story!! It is such a beautiful story! It's very confusing if you don't follow along closely and takes some time to realize what is going on at each turn. don't let that discourage you! stick it out! It was wonderfully romantic but not in the modern sense of the word. It will also break your heart! Love love loved it!

Revisado: 11-07-19
Something that held me back from this book in the beginning was the talk of self care and aligning that with scripture, however at the end she explains self care as taking care of the necessities like showering, getting dressed taking care of your body. Not indulging yourself like the media defines self care.

Smith was an aspiring actor with a promising career until it all came quickly crashing down with a gunshot, a manhunt, bloodshed, and other frightful events.

In January 1956, a tragic story flooded headlines around the world. Five men, spurred by a passion to share the good news of Jesus Christ, ventured deep into the jungles of Ecuador. Their goal: to make contact with an isolated tribe whose previous response to the outside world had been to attack all strangers. Through Gates of Splendor, the story of Nate Saint, Roger Youderian, Ed McCully, Pete Fleming, and Jim Elliot, was first recorded in 1956 by Jim's widow, Elisabeth.
