Shelley Interesting I am the one that wrote the review that you mention in your review of the Grey Man's last book. I mean "jumping while driving a convertible onto the under carriage of a small plane taking off? C'Mon.I think your other three were spot on. Please add some new selections.

Fast moving and believability

I order books because Scott is the performer. He is always excellent. At this point in his career, I don't think he work narrate a stinker.

The story line was flawed

I ordered this book because He makes a book come alive- very disappointed with the rest of it

yes -i learned a great deal about survival tecniques

How could the performance have been better?

While the different characters were done pretty well. He clearly has talent. However, narrator's voice was much too formal and monotone. I would respectfully suggest that he modify his speaking voice somewhat-maybe a little gravely, slight accent something more memorable

Did Going Home inspire you to do anything?

Yeah-think about survival

I think this author is like most of the others not completing the story in order to set up the sequel. Sort of what like Michael Connolly likes to do. I am always annoyed when he does it-but I seem to always come back for more

I was a bit hesitent with Mark Greaney writing in Clancy's name. But took a chance becauseScott Brick was the performer and I didn't think he would be involved with a "stinker" at this point in his career. And I was correct-great work Scott!

What did you love best about 1776?

Everything ! The unbiased truth about General Washington and the depiction of the war from every account

What was one of the most memorable moments of 1776?

The courage exhibited by the army under the most difficult conditions one can possibly imagine. And the crossing the Delaware on Christmas Eve of course

Which character – as performed by David McCullough – was your favorite?

No Doubt- General Washington first Generals' Lewis and Knox

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There are many insights into Washington's mind, was he was in doubt, the tactical mistakes he made and his undaunted state of being. some where his sheer presence was enough to carry the day. You will no doubt agree, if not for him we would still could be British subjects
