I’ve been listening for years - since maybe the 2nd year they started? Still a big fan but I do miss the earlier days - there’s something missing with the Karen and Georgia dynamic when they don’t record in the same room - but I also know nothing stays the same forever and change is inevitable :)

The live shows give you a taste of this still <3

Still love to see the growth into a pod network and the shows impact on women and the feminist movement. I’m truly grateful for this show and all you’ve brought to my life.

PS Karen’s stories about her mom are some of my favs <3

I really like the dynamic of sisters sharing their life - but that it’s not only about being a mom raising a family - they also share stories from their parents, visiting them…and the career / adulting stories - plus sprinkled in parenting hacks. I just like the concept of a happier life overall (not just momming or career etc). Plus hearing about their creative career journeys has been fun too. I guess what I’m t trying to say - the anecdotes are my favorite part! :)

I found you through the first book and have kept up with your content ever since. I appreciate your reading cadence and voice performance too - it’s something I’m oddly picky about when I listen with headphones ;) and the audiobooks and podcast are great - I feel like I’m chatting with a friend <3

TikTok, the audiobook, the book, the ebook….ive loved them all and KC doesn’t disappoint. I appreciate how mindful she is of guests and making sure they’re the right guests (not just finding people to fill a spot or satisfy a PR-quota), and the thoughtfulness she clearly puts into researching and planning the questions (or maybe she’s just naturally this great on the fly! A natural storyteller and interviewer:) ) - thank you KC for everything - one of your original messages of Housekeeping is not a Morale Issue was •LIFE•CHANGING• for me.

Fascinating.

I heard this mentioned on MFM and am glad I checked it out. A decent ‘quick’ listen (3hrs) for when you’re driving, folding laundry, doing a puzzle, etc - when you want to finish a story in 1 day. I was especially surprised Elohim City was founded by a Mennonite pastor - completely contradictory to the pacifist ideology of Mennonites I’m familiar with. I’ll be reading more from the author!

Great Narrator

Love Alie

I first ‘met’ Alie on Forever35 pod and my fav murder pod when they had her share her hometown murder - I gave it a try for the ADHD episode and stuck around! Finally a science pod I enjoy and listen to and the Smologies are really great for the family -a benefit that they’re shorter, hold the kids attention longer and we can generally listen to in one car ride.

Helping a lot

Meditation sleep stories never worked for me but this finally has! I also wake in the night a lot so use it to go back to sleep. Next we need an episode for falling back to sleep and therefore worried about the sleep you’re losing and the anxiety loop continues! One feedback: I do wish the 3 min premium content wasn’t added to the feed, it messes up when I’m trying to get ready for bed and play the next episode - but I get why they do it. Thanks for creating this!
