I have never hated a character this much
Revisado: 06-12-24
The narration was brilliant. The book was so full of emotion… empathy, hatred, sympathy. Through the narration you could visualize each character. Your imagination is not needed for this book.

Should have come with a warning label
Revisado: 02-28-24
Performance flawless! Narrator brought the characters to life. The story was great. A real thriller. BUT had I know there was going to be a brief moment of animal cruelty, I would NOT listened to it. I know animal abuse is part of the characteristic of a psychopath but I believe with a little more imagination and creative thinking another narrative could have taken place.

The narrator did such an excellent job giving each character their voice.

The ending was just like a classic thriller movie-the plot thickens and twist. I wish the husband had been a little more aggressive.

The book was essentially a version of The Village. It was good. Every one has secrets on a small island town. Everything reveals itself at the very end. You want to know so you keep listening. The narration was flawless.

The narration for the main character was annoying but the narration for all the other characters was perfect. This is my first book by this writer. Would have loved to see this on TV. I can picture the stars who would play who.

Ok but too long
Revisado: 07-19-23
The narration was good. The story was predictable. No guess work. But the characters were good and the it was written and narrated you could envision them. There looks, how they dressed, how they might would have smelled. Story line just a little too long.
