Stop using artificial narrators

really good book, but the use of artificial narrators is horrible. you can't help but hear all of the mispronunciations, such as MO in place of M.O. and the butchering of people's names. Please stop using this.

Great story! Great Character! It's been a long time since I've read/listened to a book that kept my attention the way the authors books have.

Short and To The Point

It was OK. You could watch a 45 min. doc on the murder and it's the same info you get in the book. Maybe it's just me, but I think books should be more in depth. Not much research done on this one.

I really wanted to love this!

It was all over the place, and the narration made it worse. Paul Holes is an amazing investigator, but he really could have used some help with the structure of this book. And definitely needed to have someone else narrate.

Well written

This book is really well put together. There is so much and so many years worth of information about Randy Kraft to put in just one book, but the author managed to do it. I also give him credit for being able to do the research necessary to write about this monster!!!!! It is beyond words what these poor boys endured before being murdered.

Horrible narrating!

While I'm sure this reader is good in some genre, Agatha Christie is NOT one of them. She is one of my all time favorites and I'm saddened by the fact that I got a half a chapter in and called it quits. If you are a fan like me, do not waste your money or credits on this particular book with this particular narrator. Sorry Deaver Brown

GREAT PERFORMANCE, GREAT WRITING

This is absolutely one of the best true crime novels I have ever read. I've seen it, and passed it up many times because something about this killer unnerved me (well they all do, this one in particular). You can say, " I didn't want to go there".
From the beginning, the way this author writes and the amazing performance of Kevin Peirce brought you into this world of Watertown. The characters came alive and I had a real sense of who they were. This could have been "anytown " USA. Almost as if these people lived down the street from me when I was growing up. This made this story that much more disturbing.

This was an excellent book. It was recommended by an Audible customer service representative and he hit the nail on the head. The narrator was great and all the twists and turns were seamless. Highly recommended !!

Amazing, unknowingly this book gave me strength. After years of trying to get past my own tragedy, I felt a sense of peace knowing that she faced the similar "just get over it" and "put it in the past" rhetoric. She is my hero.
