Sorry i wasted a credit
Revisado: 01-26-25
I kept hanging on to see what the big shocking twist was going to be.......no surprise there is NONE. This book wrapped up everything so clean and neat like everyone investigating the main character were complete idiots. This was one of the worst books I have ever wasted a credit on.

The best book I have read by far this year. All of the characters were well flushed out and interesting. This is a book. I never wanted to end. Looking forward to reading more of this author.

This book is very strange. It took me about one second to figure out what was going on. Then I just finished the book to see what would happen in the end. I would say save your credit.

Wayyyyyyyyy to much detail about everything
Revisado: 09-26-22
I found myself fast forwarding through this book a lot because it was way to detailed about what they were doing and thinking. This was just an ordinary run of the mill love story to me, definitely nothing special to make it stand out. I never felt a connection between the two main characters, and found the ending would just not work.
The only redeeming thing was the twist that explains how these 2 stories come together. I used to love his books, but I think I am done now.

Historia
Stephen Aston is getting married again. The only problem is, he's still married to his first wife, even though she is in a care facility for dementia. But he'll take care of that easily, by divorcing her—even if his adult daughters protest. Tully and Rachel Aston look upon Heather as nothing but an interloper. Heather is the same age as Rachel and even younger than Tully. Clearly she's a gold digger and after their father's money. Heather has secrets that she's keeping close, and reasons of her own for wanting to marry Stephen.

Nothing ever happened
Revisado: 09-07-22
I kept waiting for something to happen. A small thing happened almost at the end. Lots and lots of not needed information about Tully’s kids and problem that had nothing to do with the story. This book was awful. Save a credit move on

Excruciating
Revisado: 08-01-21
This was seriously one of the worst books I’ve ever listened to. There Is an excruciating amount of description and detail in this book that is so not necessary. It drug this book out to be 10 times longer than it would’ve been without it. I listened to it on 1.8 speed and was hitting the fast forward button a lot! The only reason I finished it was to find out what happened to a certain person. That was a huge letdown. I personally would not listen to another book written by this author. Save a credit!

Historia
Thirty years ago, Wilde was found as a boy living feral in the woods, with no memory of his past. Now an adult, he still doesn't know where he comes from, and another child has gone missing. No one seems to take Naomi Pine's disappearance seriously, not even her father - with one exception. Hester Crimstein, a television criminal attorney, knows through her grandson that Naomi was relentlessly bullied at school. Hester asks Wilde - with whom she shares a tragic connection - to use his unique skills to help find Naomi.

Couldn't even finish this one :-(
Revisado: 06-01-20
For me this book got worse as it went on. The only character I loved was Hester!!! She made me want to listen when she was speaking. "Don't Be Fresh!!!" The rest I could care less about. I forced myself to listen when there was 2 hours left and finally gave up with 45 minutes left. I just didn't even care to finish. I will not listen to others peoples opinions anymore, this book stinks!
