In business, the right behaviors matter. But getting it right is tricky. Even when we acknowledge the need to change what we do and how we do it, life has a habit of getting in the way, upsetting even the best-laid plans. And just how do we manage those situations that can provoke even the most rational among us into behaving in ways we would rather forget?

Historia
Two men, each handsome and unusually adept at his chosen work, embodied an element of the great dynamic that characterized America’s rush toward the twentieth century. The architect was Daniel Hudson Burnham, the fair’s brilliant director of works and the builder of many of the country’s most important structures, including the Flatiron Building in New York and Union Station in Washington, D.C. The murderer was Henry H. Holmes, a young doctor who, in a malign parody of the White City, built his “World’s Fair Hotel” just west of the fairgrounds.

What did you like best about The Devil in the White City? What did you like least?
I enjoyed this listen although I was under the impression it was all about Holmes. There was also a lot of history about the fair itself. Which is super cool but at times I found myself craving some Holmes to prepare for the epic moving thats coming out this year.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Millions of people visit xkcd.com each week to read Randall Munroe's iconic webcomic. His stick-figure drawings about science, technology, language, and love have a large and passionate following. Fans of xkcd ask Munroe a lot of strange questions. What if you tried to hit a baseball pitched at 90 percent of the speed of light? How fast can you hit a speed bump while driving and live? If there were a robot apocalypse, how long would humanity last?

Worst Book I've Ever Listened To Or Read
Revisado: 03-29-15
I am amazed I managed to finish this. It's just horrible. They didn't focus on anyone that has proven themselves to be a modern quarterback. It could be argued that its little more than a marketing ploy for various QB training programs that start charging obscene amounts of money to train kids when they are only 8 years old. I'd say it's half Manziel biography half marketing ploy. I can't even guess as to who would enjoy this book. A more accurate title would be The QB: The art of manipulating young athletes into thinking they need to spend an incredible amount of money on training with failed QBs in order to succeed. It's a bit long so I understand why it wasn't used. I'd like to know how many kids that come out of these camps actually become successful NFL QBs. I'm fairly certain right now they're hovering around 0 percent.. Although in fairness they do often lead to scholarships. Terrible book.

A much needed perspective
Revisado: 03-23-15
I am moved by this story. Ive never been exposed to the German perspective of the war. It humanizes an enemy I've been taught to hate my whole life. The fairness of war that was frequently mentioned changed my perspective on the war as a whole. It was great learning about the African campaign from a firsthand account. This is a must rrad/listen
