Historia
This inspiring, insightful, and often humorous look at the life of Father Stuart Long is told by his close friend, Father Bart Tolleson. After their relationship began and almost ended with a practical joke, the two men were ordained together and forged a strong, lasting friendship. As the exuberant, edgy Father Stu confronted a rare degenerative disease, the former brawler and professional boxer used every ounce of his declining strength to fight the good fight for souls.

Fr Stu was an amazing man and this book fills in all the blanks. Fr Bart did an amazing job bringing out the man who was Fr Stu.

Feel dirty after listening to this
Revisado: 03-03-23
Loved Shawn’s Kragdon-ah series, and the first few books of this series, but this one just felt wrong when listening to it. It was like putting Jesus into the twentieth century, but with the miracles, but no real message. It really had the feel to it that it was written solely to battle Christianity and make fun of the bible. I did listen all of the way through though to see if maybe the ending would tie together the moral of the story, but it didn’t. Unless of course I might be missing something, but even a google search hasn’t helped. Oh well, you win some and lose some. I’m not giving up on the series quite yet.

Weird last chapter
Revisado: 11-11-21
There is a strange ending to this one that I am still mulling over. It’s like the author was trying to have some empathy towards terrorizing people for a cause. I don’t know if I’m accurate on that statement, but I am still trying to wrap my mind around the conversation in the last chapter. It was very emotional until that point, then I had the same feeling I get when I see a new movie with some radical left leaning crap in it. (Why did they do that?)

Um, ok
Revisado: 07-29-21
The bases for the story was really good and could have made for a very gripping and thrilling plot. Unfortunately, about halfway through the book I had to double check to make sure I didn’t purchase the abridged version. I felt like I was reading a buddies paper in college who was given the exact amount of words he had to use so he had to cut out all depth of character. Anyway, didn’t hate it, but probably won’t buy the author again.

Sucky ending
Revisado: 05-19-20
I loved listening to all five books and relationships the friends build but this book needs an alternative ending or even another book. There was a lot tat wasn’t settled or clear that I believe should be revisited.
