As a young man I was captivated by the voice of Cher. The first record album I bought as a boy with my own money was SONNY & CHER LIVE IN LAS VEGAS VOL. 2. and I knew every beat and every note. To this day Cher's early records take me back to magical places. Every week I would be in front of the television ready to watch the show. There was something about Cher and voice, her look, that I have never been able to get enough of. This book was fun and has left me wanting more. Stephanie Block was the right choice as co narrator, her voice blending so well with Cher's. I know they are working on a movie, and with this material it seems an eight part mini-series would best cover the story of this amazing talent. I look forward to book to and hope for book three! Thank you Cher!

Hearing Lucinda Williams tell her story was a journey as raw and beautiful as one of her records. My only upset is that I wish the book had been longer. I hope she writes another. She is a fascinating artist who captured my heart years ago. And damn it, this book makes me wish I knew her!

I found this book to be filled with thoughtful information. Little things add up and Matt Bird turns stones to share the details. if you are a writer, this book is a friend. The clear voice and infectiious read of Eric Michael Summerer is perfect!

All over the place.

I bought this audiobook for myself and second edition as a gift. I received a text from the person I had bought the book for who said they were going to have to listen to it again. That they came out of it all rather confused and not really knowing what to eat. I have to say I agree. Yes, the information about leaky gut is informative and much of the stories on food.. but over all it is a confusing book. I already knew to eat mostly whole foods and small fish. There is a lot here but it simply is rather jumbled. I like to come out of a book fired-up and ready to go with a clear understanding of my plan. This book left me with far more questions than answers and it led me farther away from that path.

A Light Lunch With Lynch

David Lynch is a director we love to see and hear. His unique voice and style are mysterious music to every path of artist. I bought the book years ago but enjoy hearing Mr. Lynch speak. Over all it is light fair. Each bit of story only leaves you wishing he had more to say, more time on each topic. Still, it is David Lynch so you take what morsels he is willing to share. I enjoyed this book and look forward to hearing it again.

The heart is heavy and filled with respect

This view into the world of the Wolf was a feast of information I have longed for with no idea just how hard their life is to this day. The heartbreaking realization is the destructive mark of man on all living creatures. We justify our actions in the name of money and progress as we continue to slip into darkness. This book added to my respect for the magnificent creature that is the wolf.

With good writing that never drags and characters that are bold, confident, sexy and venerable, this story feels touchable. You believe you are right there bouncing in the freshly made bed. Brandon Fancis brings it all to life with straightforward, tender and masculine energy. You are gonna smile.

Cormac McCarthy is an incredible writer. His choice of words fall into place with theme and paint the most wonderful pictures. The narration here is also on point. This is a shining example of a perfect match with writer and voice.
