What can I say. I have been ready Kenya’s books for some time and this is one of my favorite series.
The only criticism is the Lacy’s portrayal of Kaz sounds like a whiny Russian woman. However, I have gotten used to her depiction of Emily.
Brilliant story line. The suspense is real.

Awesome Story

Broken people do things that are unimaginable but the beauty in the story is the possibility of finding love and peace. Hopefully this will lead Cain to redemption, and Phoenix towards trusting someone again.
Ok maybe this is not meant for your cookie cutter romantic individuals, however, I highly recommend if you’re looking for an intense ride.
Ms. Rose ain’t coming out to play with us! Open your mind and enjoy.

Not for the faint of heart but well worth reading

Well written romance with dark undertones. Triggers yes, but this story is about a lifestyle encompassing crime bosses, evil takers, and the love of family. The characters display loneliness and darkness then throw in a bit of living in guilt that makes us root for them and want to see a HEA. I love this story and would like to see Jamie triumphant in the end. Also, IMO, The second book was perfection, followed by the first. I didn’t care for Camdon’s story because it was too vicious, without a deep plot. However, this story continues the magic, mystery and no holds barred adult sexual content. Also, the male protagonist are always dreamy, rugged and Alpha to the core.
