Heavy on the sarcasm

This author tells this like she was personally almost killed by the Murdaughs. I have no love lost on the family nor do I have a dog in that fight but the author appears to be personally invested which takes a bit away from the telling when it's written with such vitriol. I'm not sure why the author sounds so bitter but that's the take I got from this book.

The narration was just meh.

I love how they describe these in such a compassionate way considering how serious these stories are without the super graphic gore. I hope they bring new stories as I've finished them all

Boring life story with a mention of a bear attack

it's 11+ hours of someone who thinks their life story is worth all but 1 hour about anything associated with a bear attack. I don't need to know every dude you slept with and thought of sleeping with. Someone needed an editor to explain how to tie in a bit of the past woven into the story to explain how she managed to be who she is and kept a sunny attitude during the attack and a passing mention of physical therapy. The fight back from the damage to regain her life would have been infinitely more interesting than all the men she met, slept with, or befriended along the way. All the name-dropping "Hollyweird" insiders and descriptions of majestic mansions she had dinner at.

it's as exciting as a wet mop and I used it on Audible to fall asleep at night

A new story from That Chapter is like an old friend dropping by with fresh coffee or tea for a story you know won't disappoint

These podcasts are very well done. Mike, the host, is very respectful of the families but might throw a bit of humorous shade at one or two of the criminals. He treats you like an old friend and ends his podcast with love and good wishes to all. His kindness shows through his podcast as well as his YouTube hit by the same name, however, the stories are different so head to check out his YouTube channel if you like this content

Popular YouTuber starts an amazing Podcast

I've followed this guy on YouTube for years. He does excellent true crime videos with 1.8 million subscribers. this is even better than his YouTube channel because he can take deep dives. I'm also stoked so I can fall asleep to one of his podcasts to his Irish lilt
