Historia
Identity Theft is an award-winning book that follows Stanford Professor Debra Meyerson’s journey to recover from a severe stroke that initially left her physically incapacitated and unable to speak. In addition to providing realistic expectations for the hard work needed to regain everyday capabilities, Meyerson focuses on the less frequently documented emotional journey in recovery. Virtually every survivor is haunted by questions like: “Who am I now?” and “How do I rebuild a meaningful and rewarding life?” after losing so much of what they had before.

I can easily say that this is one of the finest books I've ever read.
A masterpiece for anyone going through, or wanting to discover the complexity, on so many levels, of stroke.
My deepest and most heart felt thanks to Debra and her family for sharing these insights.

Historia
With rich detail, compelling honesty, and a storyteller’s gift, RFK Jr. describes growing up Kennedy in a tumultuous time in history that eerily echoes the issues of nuclear confrontation, religion, race, and inequality that we confront today. This powerful book combines the best aspects of memoir and political history. The third child of Attorney General Robert Kennedy and nephew of JFK takes us on a journey through his life, including watershed moments in the history of our nation.

One of the best books I've ever listened to. Superbly written, wonderfully narrated. Can't help but think how the world would be different had JFK and RFK been able to achieve but half of their dreams...

Linux is a vast OS. As such, trying to learn everything at once will be overwhelming; you have to break everything up into small bits so that you can "swallow" with ease. And that’s what this book does; to ensure you don’t get overwhelmed by the vast amount of information on Linux out there. It doesn’t make any assumptions about your background or knowledge of Linux and takes a step-by-step, logical, and systematic beginner friendly approach to all concepts, commands and jargon to ensure at the end, you can start using Linux as if you learned it years ago!

Worst Audible book I've ever had

Ok, an audio rendering of info on computer software is not a simple task, but when the narration is done using artificial intelligence it transforms interesting subject matter into laughable monotony. My bad. Hope I learn to be more selective in the future.

Historia
With the Rolling Stones, Keith Richards created the riffs, the lyrics and the songs that roused the world, and over four decades he lived the original rock-and-roll life: taking the chances he wanted, speaking his mind, and making it all work in a way that no one before him had ever done. Now, at last, the man himself tells us the story of life in the crossfire hurricane. And what a life....

Simply fantastic !
Revisado: 11-30-15
No mincing words on this one people. What a superb rendition. If I could have lived only one-hundreth the LIFE KR lived, I'd consider myself lucky. Right place, right time, ok. But balls were needed to make the story what it was, and he had them, albeit sometimes aided by stuff. So what. Truly a great story, exceptionally written and magistrally performed.
It doesn't get any better. I pity anyone who chose the book version, because the added dimension of the audible version is priceless. Well done Keith. Few people could have done it as well as you've done. You might not be the greatest guitarist to take the stage, but you've got few competitors when it comes to living life as it should be lived.

Historia
In this groundbreaking book, Alanna Collen explores the extraordinary world of the powerful microbes that make up 90 percent of the human body. You are just 10 percent human. For every one of the cells that make your body, there are nine impostor cells. You are not just flesh and blood, muscle and bone, brain and skin, but bacteria and fungi. You are not an individual but a colony of microbes. Far from being passive, the trillions of microbes that live on and in you are intimately involved in running your body.

Outstanding and worthy of the highest praise !!
Revisado: 05-10-15
I've read dozens of very fine books regarding health and how our food choices affect us, but this book ranks at the very top in terms of the extraordinary depth it offers and the absolutely wonderful performance by the narrator. As I was reading it, I was unable to keep from telling all my closest friends that they should procure a copy, in particular those friends with young children or health issues such a IBS.
This book deserves a wide audience and hopefully it will get the recognition it deserves to make that happen autonomously.
Compliments to the author for her fine work.
