Great Story For the Most Part

I personally love Tessa and Miles's relationship. I think they are mature and fun, and really meant for each other. HOWEVER, every single one of Tessa's friends seem to be some of the worst people you could have the misfortune to know. Especially her sister. I had a hard time with any scenes that she was in in particular because what a self involved brat. The male narrator's voice for women was a touch on the whiny side for me, but overall both narrators seemed to do a great job and Tessa and Miles together are swoony. 100% worth the listen!

I gotta give the male narrator a lot of props because he continued the voice he gave Rogan in the last book into this book and That is an undervalued skill in these kinds of series. Adored him for that.

Worth the read

The Story itself is amazing. The characters are great and I did literal laugh out loud. The make narrator is kind of Hard to listen to, I thought it would bring something to the story to have the Scottish accent but I think it ended up just making me dislike every character as he spoke. The female narrator was better tho! So if you can get past the annoyance do it. Either way consume this book because it is worth it

If you’re missing Ice Planet Barbarians I HIGHLY recommend this. Honestly enjoyable and a little silly. Not crazy spicy but a nice light book. Def worth the listen.

It’s cute but kind of sexist

I like having flawed main characters but as much as Liam seems to adore January he has a lot to say about her not being “girly”, just sort of perpetuates the idea That women have to be feminine to be attractive in general. January seems amazing tho! Love her relationship with her daughter. But Liam…tbh…kinda sucks. Listen if you want but don’t let men tell you how to be

ANOTHER CLIFFHANGER

Tracy Wolff the queen of the cliffhanger. Jeez. I love both the female and male narrator. I just wish this was a duet narration cause it would bring so much to having the story come alive. But I love this world and this book was AH. MAY. ZING.

I love that they use two narrators to actually have a conversation and instead of just narrating different sections And each trying to mimic the other gender. Makes it so much easier to listen to and get engrossed in. Downloading the next installment now!

What you’d imagine an audiobook to be

while the story is not everyone’s cup of tea the performance is what you’d expect an audiobook to be, not simply someone narrating the story but when they talk next to a “crackling fire” there is a crackling fire in the background noise it was lovely, a real experience to listen to. I hope the next book is narrated the same.
