This story was the perfect follow up. A lot of times a change in narrator's makes it hard on the reader but not the case here. I listened to book 1 completely before starting book 2 and the change in narrators didn't cause a problem in this performance like it sometimes does.

This will be the lowest review I leave on this series I hope. I love the dungeon core category for the dungeon mechanics and the builds and this series gives that but they skipped a lot of floor six build and gave several hours of the story to delving (I wasn't a fan, skipped the whole book on delving in this series because that's not what I was looking for from this series) Love when a core gets an avatar in the stories and he has one so why do we need to go and now add in him delving? We have his out of game life already to break up the core stuff, his relationship with Rue for personal growth and he can already interact with the players. Him now being a player is a 4th thing to remove us from core stuff. Ok skipped both delving parts of the story and that's a good part of the book will be returning it. Hope he keeps the delving to the spin off books for now on.

The story was going great until they go for the bad guy and then it becomes the Zach story. I want to know about the others not the one who whines all the time and screams I am the good guy. In book one you turned on your best friend for a girl and led the world to hunt him down but because he didn't lie down and die instead killed everyone who came for him he is evil. This has carried him till now and still no growth as a person or as a skill user till the end. ugg. I may give up on this series with it seeming like Zach is becoming the lead.

Hi. My name is Will. Apparently, I’m a necromancer. You would think that I might be a little bit more certain about something like that. Magical practitioners apparently go through a lot of training in an apprenticeship. Again with the apparently. In this case, "apparently" is completely appropriate because I didn’t do any of that. I was finally ready to renovate my house, so I was in a pinch for an apartment. I ended up in one that had a bunch of weird reviews. I did say I was in a pinch. It turned out that the apartment had a ghost.
