Another great Story

These are great military short stories with a sci fi twist to it. I can really feel the soldier's life come through the words.
The virtual voice is not as good as a human voice actor. But the story is just great.

The narrators are not narrators in this book, but voice actors. they bring the characters to life and you can easily tell different characters from each other. I cannot fully explain how wonderful it was listening to them change their pitch and cadence. You should get this book just for them alone.
As for the writing, Courier quest is a misnomer. It is really a Young Adult romance novel about a pacifist beta who and q workaholic adult woman. There are moments we're you think the inventory system might turn out be interesting, but this is a slice of life book.
He who fights with monsters series, also has a unique inventory system, uses it more often has a more complex and rewarding romance. But that series is not a pacifist.

Good, but not directly part of Legacy of Aldenata

Was thinking of this title about halfway through the fight.
On one side you have a guy who can hit anything he shoots. He is uncanny in his accuracy.
On the other side, you have a guy who has more endurance, better senses, go with less sleep, can do multiple movements in less then 1 second, and by the way is an empathy so he can know when you are shooting at him.
But wait, that's not all. In case the sniper isn't handicap enough, we will make him afraid of the dark, and to top it off - a coward.
Hmm, what else to make this a good fight. Let's make the empathy a Zen Master to balance out the other guys cowardice qualities.
