I was so jazzed to find out that Bobiverse book 4 was released that it went straight to the top of of my library list. After finishing it, I have to say I was not dissapointed. Ray Porter did a great job with the different voices and narration in general.

The various subplots really expanded the world, and the overall plot took a few unexpected turns. Highly reccomended if you've listened to the first 3 books in this series.

New narrator Scott Brick does well

Though I miss Dick Hill, Scott Brick did a great job as the new narrator. This is one of those books that made me excited to hit the play button when getting back into the car. What's going to happen next? Also, I had to look up the word "gamine", so now I know what that means. There were a lot if negative reviews on here, but I'm glad I went ahead and listened to the book anyway.

Author is also a great narrator,

I've never heard of the TV show he's on until I heard it mentioned in the book, but it's not about the show. It's an interesting look into the career of a real-life cop (and later) homicide detective told through a series of anectodes. I came away from the book liking and respecting the author. My favorite story is the one he saved for last. Would reccomend to a friend.

The highs are higher, and the lows are lower

Danielle suffers alot in this book, but she keeps going where others may have given up. This was a book that I figuratively could not put down, and was always looking forward to hitting the "Play" button when I was back in the car.

The author has done her research on multiple subjects that help build the world in a more believable manner (ie: how does a flying superhero navigate when flying in near-Earth orbit?).

I've got to mention that the character Kinetic was confusing to me, because the book refers to Kinetic as they or them instead of he or she, so it sounds like we're talking about multiple people instead of one person. I had to keep remembering that Kinetic was one person, not a group or a team.

The narrator did a great job with the different voices for the different characters, though if I had to nitpick, the voices for Doc and Calamity sound kind of similar.

Greywitch is a character I loved to hate

Entertaining; would recommend

High production quality, good writing, big cast of voice actors that gave a great performance. Of special mention are the interlude segments featuring two old woman characters who repeatedly emphasize that they are definitely NOT virgins. I liked the music and singing because it set the mood, but wasn’t too much. Would recommend to a friend.

Best narrator ever

The story was engaging, and oftentimes humorous, but what really stood out was Rosario Dawson's performance. Her range of voices and accents was great, I always knew who was doing the talking, and her tone changed to fit the situation. She is, for me, the voice of Jas (Jazz?), the protaganist.
