Outstanding story and narration
Revisado: 10-13-17
I didn't know what to expect as I didn't read any reviews but because I love a lot of Klunes work i took a 'leap of faith' you might say.... and wow. I was captivated from beginning to end. The narration was wonderfully executed. So warm and likeable ... Voices so different you always knew exactly which character was speaking.
I will read this again. Klune is just magic!

Revisado: 06-12-17
Story captivating and Narration superb. So many characters yet so well defined . You always know who is talking and it is easy to forget it is the same narrator. My fav voices are the cocky Ash, gruff Maddoch, and of course cheeky Dex and sexy Slone.
I love to watch the ever deepening relationship and amazed at how the story is coming together. What a talented writer!!!

Wow. Just wow. Absolutely loved it.
Revisado: 05-22-17
One of the best books I've listened to. Klune has a gift. I read this after reading the beautifully written and very funny 'how to be a normal person' . This was so very different. Very dark but still sweet. This story had me on the edge of my seat constantly. I battled with my sense of ethics and almost couldn't bring myself to listen to the last 40 mins... I still don't know how I feel about the scene before the end . The writing was so good that I still feel unsettled somewhat. A little traumatise. This is A must read/listen. The best narration as well. Kirt Graves does a tremendous job..Absolutely loved all of it

A warm and lighthearted tale with devastating consequences
Revisado: 08-31-16
I really enjoyed this story. Better than many so called best sellers in the mainstream market. It's the second I've listened to in the series and I'm Looking forward to reading or listening to more from the talented author. The narrator has done a fabulous job with all the different characters and has a lovely versatile voice with great timing. I found myself chuckling (and cringing along with the main character) at many of granny's antics and can't get the picture of the see through swimwear out of my mind. I highly recommend this book.

Historia
In the 1970s, Dolly Freed lived off the land dirt cheap and plum easy. Living in their own house on a half-acre lot outside of Philadelphia for almost five years, Dolly and her father produced their own food and drink and spent roughly $700 each per year. Thirty years later Dolly Freed's Possum Living is as fascinating and pertinent as it was in 1978. Tin House is reissuing the survivalist classic with a foreword by David Gates and an afterword by the author.

Really really bad
Revisado: 02-10-16
Some pretty scary and small minded views disguised as a bushcraft and number 8 wire type book. It's a shame because some of the ideas of lite living were appealing.
