The beloved star of Friends takes us behind the scenes of the hit sitcom and his struggles with addiction in this candid, funny, and revelatory memoir that delivers a powerful message of hope and persistence. In an extraordinary story that only he could tell, Matthew Perry takes listeners onto the soundstage of the most successful sitcom of all time while opening up about his private struggles with addiction. Candid, self-aware, and told with his trademark humor, Perry vividly details his lifelong battle with the disease and what fueled it despite seemingly having it all.

Woe is me
Revisado: 11-10-22
Matthew Perry might be funny on screen, but has no redeeming qualities. Wah, wah, wah. He whines about all the lows in his life under the guise of being funny. he's very proud and cocky about the one-liners he created throughout what you would call a career. He was gifted with good looks and was handed his career without deserving it, yet he took every chance to blow things with drugs and alcohol while new actors are emerging every day that would honor those chances more than Matthew Perry could ever congur up if he was paid enough. As you listen to the sob story of this wasted life, you won't be feeling sorry for his pathetic excuse for his abandonment issues from when he was 5 years old boarding a plane to go see his father. Dude, get over it, you're a grown ass adult now, and both your parents loved you. Matthew Perry having an autobiography at this time shows me that he's either realizing that he's no longer relevant, or he's running out of money.

Amazing performance
Revisado: 08-18-22
The story itself was pretty long-drawn-out and sometimes kind of leaves you boring as they muddle over the details, but the performance, Ve narrator was excellent probably the best I've listened to over the last 100 books or so over the last 100 audiobooks for so

Historia
Because no one will write an unauthorized biography about Emmy-winning actor and comedian Chris Elliott, he has done it himself. Listener, you’re hereby warned that much of this book will be disturbing. The Guy Under the Sheets is a behind-the-scenes memoir so personal, so provocative, that Elliott nearly sued himself to halt publication: The most shocking revelation, corroborated by numerous unnamed sources, is that Elliott is not the absurdist comedian that Rolling Stone once called "a genius". In fact, he’s a slightly dim-witted no-talent from a celebrity family.

pretentious. Chris narrates and refers to himself
Revisado: 05-19-21
Chris narrates and refers to himself in the 3rd person. absolutely terrible. I'm skipping the rest of this and will beg audible for a trade.
