Disappointing
Revisado: 03-04-25
I was expecting significant research and data to back up the claims. Instead, the book is written at a Junior High level. It’s extremely repetitive with phrase such as, “there is significant evidence that childhood trauma has a profound effect on the development of cancer,” but then there is nothing more that is said to back that up. Or, “studies show that childhood sexual abuse may have a negative effect on the development of cancer, most likely due to the effect of chronic stress.” It’s just very basic and repetitive. I believe in the concept that our emotionscause disease, but this book and the lack of author credentials, other than “Subject Matter Expert” is what gives alternative medicine it’s critics,

As CEO, most everything that Rich O'Connor did had something to do with at least one of the four disciplines on his famed "yellow sheet." Rich never suspected that it would become the blueprint of an employee's plan to destroy the firm. Best selling author Lencioni brings us a fable that focuses on a leader's crucial role in building a healthy organization.

Critical principles, but easy to read like fiction.

This book will help every overwhelmed CEO whittle down to the nonnegotiables in their responsibilities. Hearing it scene by scene like a movie made it a breath of fresh air and much more enjoyable than the typical business book.

One of the best business books I’ve read!
Revisado: 01-22-24
I have a small contracting business and drive 5-10 hours per week. I constantly listen to audiobooks to improve my business owner skills and take notes of the key points and specific things I can implement. I’ve never taken more notes than I did for this book! It outlines a brilliant, very organized process for evaluating and attracting A players to your organization to supercharge success. I’m excited to share the principles with my team and implement it right away.
