If you are reading this description, the thought crossing your mind right now is how could secret space programs and an extraterrestrial, greater cosmic structure exist literally? I am sorry to inform you but none of these concepts are abnormal. This is actually part of a mind control conditioning process that creates an extremely hostile environment against topics related to above top secret knowledge. This book is the antidote you have been looking for. This is not a book about conspiracy theories or many of the common tropes related to people interested in UFOs or UAPs as now described. ...

This Book is Off the Rails
Revisado: 02-10-25
Please believe me when I tell you that this book is properly bonkers. Have you ever wished for a book that was one man's psychedelic internal rollercoaster of delusions stitched together by a bevy of conspiracy theories? Do you want to know how UFOs, past lives and interdimensional beings intersect with Gamer Gate's "Based Mom" Christina Hoff Summers? Well then this is the book for you, my friend. It is unironically an absolute blast that will leave your mouth hanging open from start to finish.
I'm giving it a 10/10 despite the VirtuaVoice, I do wish Cyrus would do a proper read of it himself though, this book is far too personal a ride to be left up to the robot reader.

Actually practical, applicable, and useful
Revisado: 12-16-24
This really is the only book one needs on writing. Others can be useful for flavor and/or perspective if you're interested in that sort of thing, but all too often creative "how to's" of every stripe get bogged down in impractical idiosyncrasies or hard to follow musings about creative processes that are either too specific to the author or boil down to generalized motivational poster-isms. This book gives you real framework and structure that you can apply to storytelling in general, not just to novels, and this book itself is structured in such a way that is perfect for learning and application: plain language, to the point, with examples provided. We should all be thanking Jessica Brody for this amazing tool.

Historia
In Backwoods Witchcraft, Jake Richards offers up a folksy stew of family stories, lore, omens, rituals, and conjure crafts that he learned from his great-grandmother, his grandmother, and his grandfather, a Baptist minister who Jake remembers could "rid someone of a fever with an egg or stop up the blood in a wound." The witchcraft practiced in Appalachia is very much a folk magic of place, a tradition that honors the seen and unseen beings that inhabit the land as well as the soil, roots, and plant life.

Thinly veiled Zionist Abrahamism
Revisado: 12-16-24
An hour in and the focus of the author has been on seeking atonement at the altar of anti-racism and endless bible verses. I suspect that this book is meant to sell Zionism to those interested in the lore or practices of their Appalachian kin by working Abrahamism into as many aspects of it as possible and by (bizarrely) claiming that the majority of people from there have African and Native ancestry and therefore have a claim to these wildly different cultures. One might find this especially strange considering the emphasis he puts on how ancestral connection has to do with these rituals and practices (which IS true) if one didn't see the through line of the ideology behind such claims: Evangelical Zionism aims to be as universalist as possible, and by taking this subject, marrying it to everyone of every background, and "legitimizing" it with a breathless deference to Christianity, he will hope to influence those who might otherwise find their way off the path to Abrahamism right back on it.
Nice try, but no thanks.
