Narration was awful

Storyline was good but the narration was awful. Whispering. I did finish listening but I also had to refer to the book for clarification on some parts because I couldn’t understand what was being said.

Very Romantic

I was gifted this Audiobook for an honest review. I really liked this book, it was my first LaConstance McKinnon book. I liked that it was basic and simple love story set in the country. I brought back so many memories I had as a small child but very memorable and heartfelt. I liked the twist it had but stayed focused on the love of every family member. And really who doesn't have a family member or a family friend who is overly religious. It was so refreshing. I really enjoyed The Boy Across the Creek! The narration was awesome!!!!

The author gifted this book to me and she did not disappoint. This MC was not the typical MC. I literally could not put this book down until I finished it. This book was emotional and strong. I really had tears in my eyes on the way she was treated. I liked that the brothers in the MC were strong enough to admit their wrongs with tears as well as strength. It focused on the hurt and how it carried through the years without anyone knowing that this young person was hurting. The MC did not stop until they made things right. That's brotherhood in my eyes...............….Audio voices were excellent. In the end the trust was so amazing and she got a man that loved her for her. Cannot wait for the next book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The story was amazing. I loved the narrators. They team well together. Hoping they narrate the next book in this series by the way is totally excellent.

Book was interesting but way too long

I started enjoying this book towards the end. I was bored with the young Donya their the years. It took me a while to get thru this book because it took you from youth to adult.

Excellent series

I really enjoyed the Carter Reed story. I was really hoping that Emma and Carter had a family. I hope the series continues through each character with their own story. I would really like to hear more about Cole, he sounds so interesting but overall it was a well written book.

Amazing story

I loved bear and Thea's story. He was the most amazing man. I loved that he dedicated his loyalty to turn his life around with Thea. And theat Chappy was still involved in family. I truly hope that there more to this story.

Intriguing storyline

The beginning of a very interesting story. I am enjoying the courting Steven appears to have a romantic streak. Julie seems to be slowly warming up to Steven. I can't wait to listen to part 2

Did Tanya Stevens do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

No not at all, she doesn't separate the character personalities at all.

Could you see The Sheikh's Defiant Girlfriend being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

That would proabably be interesting, maybe a 2-day mini series.
