Historia
Meet Ove. He’s a curmudgeon—the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. But behind the cranky exterior there is a story and a sadness. So when one November morning a chatty young couple with two chatty young daughters move in next door and accidentally flatten Ove’s mailbox, it is the lead-in to a comical and heartwarming tale of unkempt cats, unexpected friendship, and the ancient art of backing up a U-Haul.

Rarely ever have I laughed out loud and cried over the same book. This was a very well written story and the narrator was perfect. I highly recommend this story but be prepared to have a tissue later.

Awful!
Revisado: 03-26-22
I rarely give reviews must less a bad one, but this book was the worse. I could not get past the first chapter. I am from the deep South and the tacky attempt at a southern drawl by the narrator was terrible. I tried my best to get in to the storyline but it came off as making people in the South dump and shallow.

Good story and good listen
Revisado: 12-31-20
This is not your typical Mary Kay Andrews book but I really liked it. I always look forward to her books because being from the south they are always good laugh out loud stories. This is not a laugh out loud story like her early works but I like the new story line. Give it a chance.

This was a great listen. I am a true Southerner, born and raised and lived in the South all my life. The story was so true to the South and the narration was the best southern accent I have ever heard on audible books by not being phony or over-exaggerated.

Good story - Unnecessary foul language!
Revisado: 10-30-19
This was such a good story but the foul language was totally not necessary. Really? When did the F word become an adjective? I seriously doubt that I could stomach the rest of the series due the filthy language.

Horrible narrator!
Revisado: 10-30-19
i rarely write a review but the narrator ruined the book! Either this narrator was over edited or she has a problem with fluency. There so many not necessary pauses after sentences that it distracted from the story.
