Investigators quickly realized that Jennifer was not who she said she was, and she was charged with murdering Joleen. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss Kimberly Kessler. Kessler had been on the run from the FBI for 25 years at the time that Joleen Jensen went missing. Always informative and entertaining
Revisado: 11-26-24
I love Mike and Gibby. The are the best at true crime. I always feel like I understand the case they present better than if I read about it on-line.

Historia
For his victims, for their families and for the investigators tasked with finding him, the senselessness and brutality of the Golden State Killer's acts were matched only by the powerlessness they felt at failing to uncover his identity. Then, on April 24, 2018, authorities arrested 72-year-old Joseph James DeAngelo at his home in Citrus Heights, Calif., based on DNA evidence linked to the crimes. Amazingly, it seemed, evil finally had a name. Please note: This work contains descriptions of violent crime and sexual assault and may not be suitable for all listeners.

Historia
One minute, down-and-out actor Lorenzo Smythe is, as usual, in a bar, drinking away his troubles while watching his career circle the drain. Then a space pilot buys him a drink, and the next thing Smythe knows, he’s shanghaied to Mars. Smythe suddenly finds himself agreeing to the most difficult role of his career: impersonating an important politician who has been kidnapped. Peace with the Martians is at stake, and failure to pull off the act could result in interplanetary war.

A very interesting podcast. It seems to me they needed a better medical setup at the South Pole. Makes me very sad we lost someone so gifted.

Historia
By the time of his death on July 23, 1885, Ulysses S. Grant was an icon in the historical memory of the United States. Just a few decades later, however, constant criticism of his military and political leadership had tarnished his reputation. Today’s historians have a far more balanced assessment of Grant as a Union Army general and an American president—and that appraisal is at the heart of Understanding Ulysses S. Grant: Portrait of a Warrior.

Riveting Story Excellent Performance
Revisado: 03-13-23
I normally don't like women authors. They put in too much romance and not enough substance. Joy Ellis puts just enough romance to make it interesting without over doing.
The storyline is intriguing and kept my interest through out.
The performance was excellent. I listen to a lot of audio books and really appreciate when the performer takes the time to do it right.

As Bruno carries out his twisted plan, Guy is trapped in Highsmith's perilous world - where, under the right circumstances, anybody is capable of murder.

Historia
Today, the US Constitution is the oldest, continually-operating instrument of government in the world. But to think of the Constitution as a fully-formed, canonical document is to miss out on an honest, well-rounded grasp of American history. Now, more than ever, any well-informed citizen should understand how the Constitution lives, breathes, and endures.
