For someone with no knowledge of AI, the book is useful. However, the book repeats a considerable amount of material. The choice of AI tool to read the book was horrible. The constant mispronunciation of “content” was more than a distraction. If you’re going to spend time writing a book, you should make sure it is read professionally.

Great content and well read

I knew nothing about Musk's background before listening to the book. Vance's approach seemed to be very well-balanced. His admiration for Musk is evident, but he shared the good, the bad, and the ugly. Vance seemed to take great care in making sure the listener understood that there were two sides to the more important controversies.

Painful to listen to...

The content of the book would have been worth reading; however, the narration was awful. At times I wondered if it computer generated--the mispronunciation of simple words was distracting. The cadence was monotonous. I'm surprised anyone involved in the production didn't have the audio production redone.
