The ideas are really powerful

If I could give this book 6 stars I would. Super interesting and quite important book. Up there with many of the modern books - essentialism, one thing etc.

One of the most interesting and thought provoking books I have listened to in a long long time. Beautifully crafted and incredibly well researched stories which end up weaving together into a really memorable work. If you live anywhere near the pacific I could not recommend this enough.

Great thought provoking book.

I liked the switch back and forth between the writings of smith and the illustrative vignettes from now. For a weighty subject it is superbly done.

Historia
The debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives. Every day the same. Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning and night. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.

Gripping story, a little plodding at times
Revisado: 02-03-15
It's a good interesting story with great visualization of suburban life in Britain. Very well observed. The only thing you will need to make is sure that you can retain interest in such a small cast of characters for so long, there is really only 3 main characters so it is deep on each one.
