Rather disappointing
Revisado: 10-17-23
Narration was ok. Not sure why he portrayed John as so mopey and humbug. That last novel he narrated was good. This one seemed to drag out all this anticipation and inner conflict then just dump it. Almost like the author gave up after the first two thirds of the book. The first two novels great this one… meh.

What is tabor still alive? He was killed already. The story made no real progress. Seems like it was written in a hurry. Quite disappointed.

June, 1941. Determined that the United States will be prepared for war, Franklin D. Roosevelt and "Wild Bill" Donovan orchestrate the most complex espionage organization in history, the Office of Strategic Services. Young and daring, the OSS assemble under a thin camouflage of diplomacy and then disperse throughout the world to conduct their operations. Narrator is awful
Revisado: 12-13-20
The narrator is so monotone and reads like a 2nd grader. No flow. Pauses long at inappropriate times. Story is rather bland probably due to the difficulty to follow along. Dick Hill is great. Don’t let this guy near a sound booth again.

Good storyline
Revisado: 01-09-20
However good the plot is, it’s quite distracting with the long pauses between paragraphs or whatever and each chapter. Sometimes it’s also hard to distinguish between characters as the narrator doesn’t change the pitch/tone/octave of her voice very much. But not a waste.
