First, this should be called interesting facts in British history. But more importantly did the author, or maybe the reader ever hear of paragraphs or pauses between thoughts? stories just flow from one to the other with no break or pause making it difficult to know when one sorry end and another begins.

Very well written. the characters capture you and you feel very connected to them. It brings a fresh and important understanding to a difficult to understand issue, the issue of abusive relationships.

Very interesting stories with clever twists and turns all over the place. engaging with intriguing characters some who you'll love other hate and others leaving you feeling both love and hate towards them.

I read this book because of the reference to it on Ted Lasso. I enjoyed it and it's messages and especially found the afterword of interest. If you watch Ted Lasso it is very interesting to see the parallels of Roy Kent and Jamie Tarts characters.

The premise was interesting but wasn't executed very well. Hard to really like the main characters. there was so much hype about the reader but her tone was really off putting, sounded like she couldn't be bothered. Could have been so much more. The ending was very anticlimactic.

I really enjoyed this book and the characters which were developed within it. The audio production added a great deal to the enjoyment of the book, very well done! My only minor, very minor, criticism is that it gets a little too into the math and physics in the middle but I am sure others loved that part. Good ending, gives enough to be satisfied and enough questions to think about what if. Maybe a sequel?

What a remarkable story about a remarkable woman. Well told. I wonder why I have never heard of her. There should be movies and tv series about this incredible person.

Well I don't think Mr Rosen will be writing a sequel because I'm sure he broke his arm patting himself me back. I think when everyone you work with is a problem eventually you need to think that the one constant in the story is you. I'm sure the correspondent's were prime donna's but it seemed that the author needed constant praise and recognition as well. I remember when I produced concerts I would tell my staff that if we do our job then nobody knows we existed. They only see us if we screw up. I think Mr. Rosen could have used that lesson as well.

Interesting stories and behind the scenes stories but it often felt like he was just trying to settle a score not relaying the facts.

Fun read though.

I was interested in this book because I don't really know much about the dust bowl experience. This book brought it to life. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for the performance. Julia's skill is amazing and brings this story to another level. Fantastic, I highly recommend it.
