The Crown of Gilded Bones by Jennifer L. Armentrout is book three in the Blood and Ash books. Again this book picks up right where the second one ended. Our favorite characters have grown stronger and found who they truly are. Poppy finally finds out who she truly is and why she has the power she does. This one does have some heart wrenching twists that literally made me want to cry and fall apart. And that ending was perfect. Talk about a cliffhanger.

A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire by Jennifer L. Armentrout is book two in the Blood and Ash books. This book starts right where the first book ended. The character development throughout these two books is phenomenal. This one also have more battles for Casteel and Poppy to fight with one another and for one another. Poppy's power has grown beyond what I ever could have expected. There twists and turns in this novel left me trying to figure out what would happen next. The ending of this book took my breath away. Definitely going to listen to book three now.

From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout is book one in the Blood and Ash series. This series follows the journey of Poppy who has been chosen as The Maiden. The world building in extraordinary. The characters, the imagery, the creatures, they're all so well created. This story has twists and turns that left me reeling. This book did start off a little slow. But once it got going, I was hooked. I did listen to this book on Audible, and the narrator added so much more to this book.

My Bloodline by KC Kean is book one in The Featherstone Academy series. This book comes with triggers so make sure you check yours.
I read this whole series through and then decided to try it through audio. I really enjoyed this book when I just read it. Now I'm fully in love with it. The two people who narrated it were perfect. They really brought the story and it's characters alive.

Another beautifully dark novel by Dot Hutchison. I was hooked as soon as I read the first chapter. I read the whole book on one sitting because I HAD to know how it all turned out. Flowers are another thing I'll never be able to look at the same!

OH MY GOSH! This book is so beautifully tragic and evil. I'll never be able to look at butterflies the same again! This is a book that can definitely mess you up. I couldn't put the book down! I had to know how to ended. After reading once on my Kindle, I decided to listen to through Audible. Hearing it read makes the book come to life on a whole new level. You feel what is happening in the book in a different way.
