I was beginning to think they would never get to the finish line. I'm glad her father's consort didn't make an appearance. It's lovely to see their family expanding. This series could continue and I would still be interested.

For 10 years, I’ve been using a magical sword that I won in battle to ruthlessly slay enemies, break evil artifacts, and open stubborn pickle jars, but I don’t know much about it. That’s about to change. A half-dwarf thief has shown up and says she’s the rightful heir to the sword. I want to believe it’s a scam and can’t possibly be true, but I didn’t get the sword in the most legitimate manner. If I have to give it up, I might not be able to do my job anymore, and just as bad, I’ll be a target for all the bad guys.

While I do like the Twilight "Saga" I find this new rendition with the genders reversed a much more satisfying read. It's well written and the reader/character voice is delightful to listen to. I like the characters in this version SO much more than the original.
Nicely done Stephenie Meyer and beautifully read Michael Crouch. Thank you to both of you.
Good characters and development. As closely as it appears to the original, there are enough differences to make this story fresh and fun.
I liked it, and I recommend it.

An interesting premise. What would it be like if two alien consciousnesses occupied the same body? How would they resolve territorial disputes. Could they learn to understand one another and become allies if not friends?
The Earth is silently invaded. The invaders have taken the bodies of human beings and are quietly living the lives of those they have "confiscated". However, *some* humans fight for their lives.
The characters are interesting and well written. The plot is intriguing. The narrator is talented.
It was a very good read. If you enjoy scifi with one foot on terra firma and one out somewhere in the Universe, you might find this entertaining. I did and I recommend it.
