History Is Living
Revisado: 04-22-25
This is an excellent general historic outline of the history of Europe after the Roman Empire in the west was infiltrated by Germanic peoples. From cause is effect and this book shows in it’s theme how the Roman Empire still was in the mental view of Charlegmage to Napoleon Bonaparte. This book shows how centralised power with a union of church and state led to secular politics and the defining of nations today. This book is not only beautifully written and narrated, it is a must for all lover’s of history.

Compelling Theology
Revisado: 03-01-25
The Greek myths are some of the most creative and imaginative out there. Edward’s shows the metaphoric depth and the reasonableness for any to claim, as I do, that the Gods are living.

Historia
It is possible to be blinded by the light of another human being. Especially one you love. The seemingly happiest people are often hiding the darkest secrets. Smiling through pain many of us could not even fathom, let alone survive. All the while continuing to bring joy to the people around them, blissfully oblivious to the suffering of their loved one.

Fantastic!
Revisado: 02-23-24
Miss Saviano has spun another exciting story. I loved the special guest appearances and the tie-in with the Great Savior series. This lady can write!
I want also to acknowledge the talents of the narrators Paige, Ali, and PJ. The ability to read and bring out each character's life is no small feat, and it is just as important as the incredible story itself.
Everything about this gem was excellent. Those who try it will not be disappointed.

When two newlyweds move into their new home, only to discover that a corpse has been buried in their basement a few months prior, a case is begun to trace the identity of the victim. With all avenues of investigation approaching exhaustion, a tenuous lead offers a chance for Chief Inspector Moresby and leads him to the amateur criminologist Roger Sheringham, who has recently been providing cover work in a school south of London. Desperate for evidence of any kind, Moresby begins to sift through the manuscript of a satirical novel Sheringham had been writing about his colleagues.

Berkeley- Master Mystery Writer
Revisado: 02-04-24
Berkeley is one of my all time favorite mystery writers. Every book I have read of his I have enjoyed. My favorite is his “The Poisoned Chocolates Case”. I enjoy the English mysteries where reason and psychology solve the mystery over the American beat down with fists to extract truth. A battle of wits is more fun.

I learned about this author from a story that appeared in “The Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine”. It was decently done. I am more excited about delving into the whole series.

Revisado: 03-12-23
This book was a fun read. And as I find mental therapy fascinating, this book will not disappoint lovers of psychological thrillers. One asks themselves throughout the book, are not all of us “silent patients?”
There are many twists and turns. A very good book.

Now that her nightmare is over, Vanna and I are free to live our happily ever after like I promised her we would. Even if I have to kill for it. Those were my words to her. Words I intend to live up to. Though, as we have come to learn, the past rarely stays buried. Not even when it's left to rot in the Sonoran Desert.

5 Stars with the added Cosmos
Revisado: 02-20-23
Savior book 2 continues the suspensful high speed where book one left off. The grit, obsessive romance, and depth of character with sharp dialogue, everything we loved in book one is in book two.
But now we have a new obsessive lover in the broken but battle hardened demon named Legion. One Fallen Angel vs one earthy Savior. Both hating each other, one secure in his love with Vanna, the other fighting a lost cause. But you know what they say about Lost Causes. They are the ones worth fighting for.
Vanna is the epitome of feminine beauty with her buxom figure and smooth curves, a perfect symbol for the journey on the winding road for one Fallen Angel on his quest to regain his lost estate in paradise. But Vanna is forever Dean’s.
Tragic, dark, a sinister Legion who is out to destroy Dean, the adventure unfolds quickly with the opening scene of a man practicing black magick in the desert, deep into the night.
The dark theme with biblical seasoning and undertones is epic as it deals not with a perfect God but with broken men with spirits of resolve trying to make the world a better place while the Fallen Angel Legion is out to seek only his desire for Vanna. Legion’s black heart has been stabbed by love and Legion hates it so. His agony can be felt. His hell that from his heart. Woe to any that come upon Legion unaware.
Once again, Savior 2 is filled with gripping characters, to the point dialogue, and nuances of depth in-between. But the audible adds something else.
The narrators, Paige Reisenfeld and PJ Freebourn are top notch actors. It is almost like listening to two that are possessed ( which is actually kind of fitting when one considers Legion) because the two constantly have to play other characters in the book, each one different than the rest. Imagine how hard that is. Paige and PJ are great and they ensure a great story is told the right way.
I look forward to more of these books coming out. Please, Miss Saviano, write your ass off. We are all hooked!

Just Keeps Getting Better and Better
Revisado: 02-09-22
Savior, by Jennifer Saviano, is a great book. I see it destined to be a best seller. The characters are as real as you and me. They grip one and do not let go. You will find yourself thinking of this book from time to time after reading it.
Now we finally have the audio version. The narrators, P. J. and Paige, have performed masterfully through their expertise with voice acting. Think how hard that is. To master the nuances and subtleties of sound to create life in these great drawn out characters.
Buy the.audio. Buy the print. Buy the ebook. Savior is one of the deepest, thrilling, raw, and Romantic stories one could ever hope for.
And pay attention to what is not directly shown. Ask yourself why the author did this scene this way. Your eyes will open and you will see the unspoken of the characters ( example: Dean first telling Cherry it will kill him if Vanna leaves him. Then next Dean scene with Vanna he has gone above and beyond what he promised her he would do in getting her car up to par. Combine the two scenes and what do you see about Dean.)This book is filled with depth. Enjoy.
