Shallow Characters

Some of this is fun. It's a slow paced slice of life story. The characters never really grow and they don't have much depth to them. I just can't get over the sappy scenes during the final fight. there's no realism. Sad really.

I hesitate to give this story a lower rating than 3 stars. it's well written, but so hard to listen to. This story is about a fool who constantly gets manipulated and used. it feels like a story about a person who gets bullied by the universe and everyone in it. Would any normal person continue to be so oblivious? So depressing.

A Story About Ships

I have been enjoying these stories. They are simple and are like a slice of life space adventure. It's just getting really repetitive. The MC just keeps getting larger and larger ships. He keeps inventing really obvious things that should've already been invented. Also, the bulk of the stories seem to be centered around describing what the new ships or equipment are like. It's just getting old. I'm regretting purchasing this book.

This is a story of abduction, rape and human trafficking. It is not a bdsm book. I could not finish it as it started to trigger very strong negative l feeling in me. Please take care if you wish to listen to it.

This was a great book. I loved the characters and all the small things they did that made them real. I found myself laughing and crying at times. Sometimes I wished it would speed up a bit, but overall it was wonderful. The narrator also did a great job mixing up the voices to match characters. Nice job.

The Voices!!!

The part of the story I got through was pretty good. However, the voices the narrator uses for the characters are horrible. it's so distracting and unfortunate. All of them, except the main character are overblown cliches and characachures.

This feels a bit trampled, like the story has been told before and is told over and over again in this story.
I like a good OPMC, but what's the point of this story? There doesn't feel like there's enough background information to really be invested in the world she's in or the other characters. Hmmm... I'm going to have to think on this one a bit before I decide if I want to read the next one.

WTF All Over the Place

Just like the first book, I'm not sure what to think about this story. The MC can be so stupid. He let's others dictate his life to such a horrible degree, and he's so naive. Also that the ending, made no sense. That was not a cliffhanger. All that said, I couldn't stop listening to it. I hope there's a third installment.

This was a fun book. I laughed out loud at times. Good character development development, and the story was fun. I also thought the narrators did a great job. I hope the audio version for book 2 comes out soon.

Lacking Something

I've never read something like this before, but it wasn't too bad. I would've liked to understand more about the characters. I felt like they were sorta floating in the story, but not really grounded with a background. There were definite sparks between Lily and the MC, but not much happened there.

it's a short story and erotica and I didn't expect to be blown away, but it felt kind hollow to me. I really like the ending, though, when they found themselves. That felt nice.
