Surprising plot with great characters

Love this series. The details in the characters are woven into each of their history. Also love that the characters are consistent throughout the series. This one deals with epilepsy and perceived mental illness and a warm and satisfying way.

Love that the series follows the characters as they grow and evolve. Love that the vernacular is authentic. “I cannot abide …” instead of “I can’t stand.” The subtle humor is appreciated, too.

Not her best work

I love this author, but this feels like she was required to submit something over 4 hours and didn’t have time or inspiration to make it at all unpredictable, funny, or clever. There are moments of clever, but nothing close to her norm. Don’t judge her work on this story.

Another great story from Mia Sossa. There were times where I really didn’t know how this was going to work out. Great storytelling, great believable characters, Definitely worth a listen.

Love story with a cool twist

Loved everything about it. A great re-imagining of a world with ware wolves and vampires. The plot was weirdly believable and I loved the characters. Although the characters took a while to hook up, romantically the other species-ness made it really hot. I didn’t think I could like Ali Hazelwood’s work more, but she outdid herself.

A poor Viet Namese woman and an autistic man try to find their way to each other and I fell in love with and identified with both of them. Beautiful, well-told story.

Call twist at the end

The storie’s twist kept me guessing about who was in the right and who was in the wrong.
Characters were both lovable and hate-able, but not sure who to love or hate til the end.
Narration was excellent.
Well worth the credit.

Just excellent!

The story is great - a hot, athletic, privileged guy who has a hook up that changes his life. His deep issues, concerns and secrets become apparent when he 1. has to write about a childhood memory and 2. is able to protect the teacher he is so attracted to from a bunch of drunk guys.

The characters are great. There's one conversation between an oversharing mother and son who has inherited the same trait that was hilarious. It's called the "Verbal Diarrhea match."

The story is sweet and complicated.
