Amazing
Revisado: 10-09-24
There is so much more to Michael than I ever could have dreamed. His intelligence, sensitivity, spirituality, sincerity and wit so far surpass Kramer, yet having read the book now I want to see all the episodes all over again with this new perspective. Well written and narrated! I would love to meet this man.

What a great plot; it kept this self-proclaimed sleuth guessing well into the story. Also very different from many cookie-cutter mysteries. Well done!

Refreshing and uplifting
Revisado: 02-28-23
Well crafted and brilliant! The story took me to a place of peace and wonder. Rosanna is a lovable curmudgeon who learns important life lessons as she approaches late middle age. I very much enjoyed the unfolding of seemingly mundane events that when combined do seem to result in a heavenly way of life. Told in a way that was easy to relate, and quite entertaining.

I couldn’t stop listening! The plot is sadly believable. It might not be if there were more people like Frank and Nick in the world. The narration, as always when Scott Brick reads, is perfect. Scott brings such life and feeling to his work. All around very well done!

The best post-apocalypse yet
Revisado: 01-19-23
I seem to have a strange fascination with post-apocalyptic fiction. I’ve picked up some real losers, but this was really good. Believable and rather terrifying. The narration was perfect. If you like survival stories I highly recommend Gray.

Great Read, Well Done
Revisado: 01-04-23
I usually don’t care for plots I can figure out ahead of time, and I thought I’d figured this one out several times. In the end, I had only figured out one of the players. Meanwhile, the surprises kept on coming right to the very end which had me sobbing right out loud. The setting was very familiar to me since my family has a river house in Middlesex county. I could visualize with much accuracy the places described. I would say this book ranks right up there with, or maybe even above, any Grisham I’ve read.

Unfortunately I picked up this series out of order, but it’s so well written I have been able to follow events. I have a deep love for other creatures on our planet, so the concept of being able to enter deeper relationships through speech is amazing. Exploring the possibilities of extraterrestrial presence, past or present, is another of my passions, so these books are perfectly aligned with my interests. I will be re-listening to them all once I have collected the whole series! Well done!!!
