Revisado: 03-10-25
It took four tries but I finally managed to finish the book which was pretty good. I struggled to get into it. The narrator’s voice when she does Margo’s voice was so annoying and sounded like some stoner. Overall the book was okay.

Narrator sounds like a child.
Revisado: 03-01-25
The book was good but the childish voice of the narrator made it hard to take the book serious. The book is a bit corny in places but overall was entertaining.

Horrible AI Narration.
Revisado: 10-09-24
The AI narration is terrible. There’s some sort of feedback and there’s a lot of squeaking and the narrator is a monotone and it’s just horrible. The book itself really has no plot. I kept waiting for something to happen, but it never did. I don’t recommend this book.

The book cover is what attracted me to this book and my home state Tennessee. I wanted an easy listen and began listening to the book and found that I enjoyed it. It’s a good book when you just want something to fill the time that doesn’t require a lot of focus.

Historia
It was a typical evening at a mall outside Portland, Maine. Three teenage friends waited for the movie to start. A boy flirted with the girl selling sunglasses. Mothers and children shopped together, and the manager at the video game store tended to customers. Then the shooters arrived. The chaos and carnage lasted only eight minutes before the killers were taken down. But for those who lived through it, the effects would last forever.

This was a great book and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The beginning is really hard to listen to, but was so descriptive that I felt the terror myself. I recommend this book unless you have been the victim of a mass shooting.
