“It’s all my fault”!!
Revisado: 09-04-21
Ack! If all the “all my fault” were edited out it would cut about 6hrs off the total listening time! The story was well linked to previous books and the action and dialogue continued to make a good story but the angst. Would it ever stop? The new narrator was so-so. Jinks/Jinx was not up to par but no major irritation. Honestly don’t know if I will continue series.

Wow! Different
Revisado: 03-17-19
I had not “read” this author before and I have to say I’m glad I found her! This is a “mature” romance. Not the sex scenes but the fact there is NO ANGST! It is Wonderful!! No “I’m not good enough, pretty enough” none of the “they will hate me because of my past”! When they miscommunicate they DISCUSS it! It makes for a smoother told romance with more of the story the center of plot.

Enjoyable series but...
Revisado: 11-02-18
I obviously enjoy this series since I have listened to this many of them. The but is the fact that the resolution to an issue is that Chris always gets a new “superpower “. He’s part vampire part werewolf part angel climbs walls throws his aura throws projectiles as fast as bullets and never misses great looking etc. there is nothing he doesn’t have or develops. That part gets a little tedious but over all a fairly good series 3.5/5

I didn’t realize it is a romance
Revisado: 11-02-18
It was ok. Not the deepest or most entangled plot and sometimes that’s what you need. What I didn’t realize was it was a romance. Which is fine, I listen to those to, just unexpected. What I didn’t care for, and I don’t care for in the romances I listen to, is how angst-y the hero was.

Warning-change in narrorator
Revisado: 07-13-18
The story line in pretty good but the change in narrorator is such a let down. He also doesn’t have the voice range to differentiate characters well. You can tell them apart but it’s more due to the writing than the voice. Really miss Boxers “big” voice.

Interesting concept
Revisado: 06-21-18
I liked the concept of the main character being able to talk to the dead and learn from them but when he starded using the Möbius strip to travel both time and distance it got to be a bit too much. Since that was at the end of the story all in all it was a good story until about the last 2hrs.

Good but....
Revisado: 06-21-18
It’s a good story and as usual Sean Runnette is excellent. But it is an expensive 2hrs of the story. If you are like me and started with book 1 and read these kind of books often then you know there is always a “patient zero”. Some other series continue the story from there. This one is totally unrelated to Mr T except at the end where it intros his story. It adds nothing to the series itself. It’s a beginning but no end. You get invested in the marine’s struggle and then it’s over.

Not the best
Revisado: 06-01-18
The story itself was pretty good. My only fault with it Sarah. She is incredibly clingy and whiny during their assignment. I don’t know of any supervisor that would want that relationship to continue as it’s going. “Can you not go?” “Don’t do it, it’s dangerous “ etc. Tried to keep telling myself that none but Noah were professional soldiers but since they have been through the first 2 books that wasn’t washing it well.

Really really should have a different narrator
Revisado: 12-30-17
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Having a hard time finishing it.
Would you be willing to try another book from John Sandford? Why or why not?
I really enjoy Sanford’s Davenport series but not getting a different narrator was a HUGE mistake. The first 2hrs i kept expecting Lucas behaviors/snark. The next couple of hours I I just couldn’t get into it. Wrong voice for the dialogue made it easy to tune out. Have 3hr left and am taking a break.
What aspect of Richard Ferrone’s performance would you have changed?
He does a wonderful job he just shouldn’t do different main characters from the same author.

Cannot say enough GREAT things!!
Revisado: 03-21-17
If you could sum up The Fell Sword in three words, what would they be?
Wow! Wonderful! Wow!
What did you like best about this story?
Love the world Cameron has built. Can you visualize medieval Europe with magic?! GREAT characters, both primary and secondary, incredible attention to detail, and consistent story threads make this a wonderful book!!
Have you listened to any of Matthew Wolf’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
So far only Book 1 & 2 by Miles Cameron. Loving it! He seems to be one of the few who actually read the book first and enjoyed it himself.
Any additional comments?
Great series!
