This is peak litRPG

The fact that Matt has been able to keep the soul in these main characters after all these books is a testament to an author that loves his own project and it shows.
The narration is up to the normal outstanding standard and again is done in a way that shows their love for the work.
This is just a great continuation of the story well read.

Tinker's Cottage nestles in a forgotten corner of deepest Somerset. It also happens to sit on a weak point in the space time continuum...which is somewhat unfortunate for Ian Faulkener, a graphic novelist from London, who was hoping for some peace and quiet in which to recuperate following a very messy breakdown. It was the cats that first alerted Ian to the fact that something was not quite right with Tinker's Cottage...the cats and, of course, the Pope, disappearing literary agents, mislaid handymen and the insanity of Cherie Blair World.

excellent story construction, the way the writer sets up the start of the book is both prompt yet fills in all the details you need is wonderful and quickly gets you into learning about the characters.
Im a terrible reviewer but my summary is narrator wonderful! Story fast yet satisfying! Universe is shown to the reader at a good pace! Be glad you found this book late because there are sequels to jump straight into!

Wonderful story with some fun characters

An excellent book that I never tired of listening to. Narrator is perfect for the story
The story itself got me invested into some strange (in a good way) characters and looped back on itself enough times that you never knew what could be relevant later. Thank you for a great story.

F**k, there's only one book! But it is great.

I was going to give 5 stars, and then realized that there is no sequel yet... so it was going back to a 1 star so the author would have to suffer with me. But i didn't want anyone else to miss out on a great read, so 5 stars it is.
Excellent ride, i love all the characters and the bizarre messed up journey they are on. There is so much more to the world and story but it gives just enough to capture you for this journey. I do hope there will be more.

Love this series. I always doubt them at the start but soon get wrapped up in the adventure. Mr Clines is not afraid of big decisions in his stories and although wild, I love them for it.

This book is possible the most beautiful, thoughtful and exciting book I think I have read. The story is and characters are beautiful and surprising. The environment feels so real and the character decisions/choices just all make so much sense it open them up to be so much more real. If the author turned around and said he was a real time traveler and had just wanted to share his story, i would buy in.

I don't know what the humans are so cranky about. Their enclosures are large, they ingest over 1,000 calories per day, and they're allowed to mate. Plus, they have me: an Autonomous Servile Unit, housed in a mobile/bipedal chassis. I do my job well: keep the humans healthy and happy.
