This book caught the eye of one of my customers. I own a small breakfast and lunch restaurant on a resort island. This is either a true story. or the author certainly has done her homework! my customer generally comes in late, and hears us talking while we do our "sidework" marrying the ketchup is no one's favorite!
It's about time someone wrote a true to life novel based around a restaurant! Great read, funny, and yes, right on a day in the life if a restaurant worker!

This book has three major story lines going at the same time, entwined, but would each stand alone to make a decent read, together, it is one of the best books I've read. The violence did get to me more than I'd like, but there really isn't a lot of it and was very necessary to the story line. It is the kind of book that both husband and wife would enjoy. I have found myself reading a lot if "fluff" feel good books during this awful year. This one brought me back to reality. It has it all, love story, family dysfunctional love, suspense and murder mystery.Soul searching for all the main characters. You will not put it down!
