Terrible slow story
Revisado: 04-23-25
It was going to slow down we should have gotten to the point of the story sooner. It was like it was trying to be like other end of the world books.

Good but…
Revisado: 04-01-24
I almost give up till the middle. The first half was all about how a mother feels when she’s lost a child. It may just be because I have lost two sons that I am sensitive about it. How long it went on was excessive. I started skipping chapters which is something I never do. Once it got to the point where the “meat” of the story was it was good. The narrator was very good for this story.

Best book I’ve read in a while
Revisado: 02-02-24
Great story. Not the same old werewolf tale. The robot narration in places interrupted the flow. I won’t be buying any books with robot narration until it gets better.

Historia
To five-year-old Jack, Room is the entire world. It is where he was born and grew up; it's where he lives with his Ma as they learn and read and eat and sleep and play. At night, his Ma shuts him safely in the wardrobe, where he is meant to be asleep when Old Nick visits. Room is home to Jack, but to Ma, it is the prison where Old Nick has held her captive for seven years. Through determination, ingenuity, and fierce motherly love, Ma has created a life for Jack. But she knows it's not enough...not for her or for him.

Great book
Revisado: 02-28-19
I don’t write reviews but this book is very different. I had ‘Room’ for months because it wasn’t really my style. I’m not even sure why I bought it. I was looking in my library for something to read and decided to check it out. The mom has way more patience than I can even understand. Jack asks a million questions but they are so little boy and grown up at the same time. I really hope you read this book and enjoy it as much as I did. The narrators did a great job.

Ok story
Revisado: 05-15-18
The story was ok but too long. It was not very believable. The family just mixed and matched wives, husbands and children. I kept waiting for the scary part but it never came. Then it just ended. The narrator was excellent. Listen to it if you have time.

BAD NARRATOR
Revisado: 09-01-05
I LOVE Robin Cook books. Unfortunatly there is no way I can finish listening to this one. I can't tell if the story is good or not because the narrator puts me to sleep. I have learned a good lesson. I will always listen to the sample before I buy another one.
