We slogged through ten hours of this book by sheer perseverance. We didn’t care what happened to the characters, so we quit two hours short because we just quit punishing ourselves by listening to more.

Jumping from present to past to surreal, it is nearly impossible to follow the plot. This may be meaningful to Stephen King, but to everyone else it’s a confusing mess.g
