What a great story! I also really enjoyed the narrator. While some might feel bogged down by the monologuing, this book is truly a work of art! I’m going to read more books by Dostoevsky

This is excellent for people wondering “what happens after I walk through the Church doors?”. A great introduction to Orthodoxy, I highly recommend it.
If you are looking for something very deeply theological or that talks a lot about history you might want to look elsewhere, while this book touches on some of these things it's mainly about life in the Church and is mainly useful for someone inquiring into Orthodoxy.

A very thought provoking book on what a gospel is, and what the gospel of Christ meant to Christians 2000 years ago.
Fr. Andrew Stephen Damick reads it really well, and is entertaining to listen to. I highly recommend this to any Christian.
I’m a huge fan of the Lord of Spirits podcast, and this met my expectations.

Worth listen too, amazing

The story and Christian allegory itself is amazing and wonderful adventure! I think it’s a book that makes you think of yourself and your walk with God, it’s very relatable and relevant to the Christian faith and walk. We are all pilgrims and strangers in a strange land looking for that Celestial City, The New Jerusalem, “The LORD is there”.
As for the Narrator, you can’t get much better than Max McLean, He did a truly wonderful Job. It pairs very well with any of versions of The Listeners Audio Bible.
Please do yourself a favor and don’t hesitate to get this Audio book. Such a beautiful work of literature! God bless

Good book, and great for babes in Christ, but if you are a little more advanced and already have a grasp the coming Kingdom of God and the gospel according to Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 it might be more review for you. I did learn somethings, but it felt like just to much information sometimes.
