Historia
Coexisting but conflicting needs create self-sabotaging behaviors. This is why we resist efforts to change, often until they feel completely futile. But by extracting crucial insight from our most damaging habits, building emotional intelligence by better understanding our brains and bodies, releasing past experiences at a cellular level, and learning to act as our highest potential future selves, we can step out of our own way and into our potential.

Fantastic story and narration
Revisado: 03-07-24
I didn’t dislike anything. Perfect narration and length. Wonderful story and perspective and just grateful it isn’t the shallow nonsense out there. This book is truly there to improve your life in a responsible non religious and smart way

Historia
Why do women live longer than men? Why do women have menopause? Why are women more likely to get Alzheimer’s? Why do girls score better at every academic subject than boys until puberty, when suddenly their scores plummet? And does the female brain really exist? In Eve, Cat Bohannon answers questions scientists should have been addressing for decades. With boundless curiosity and sharp wit, she covers the past 200 million years to explain the specific science behind the development of the female sex.

Terrible
Revisado: 06-21-20
This book was written by the 3 stooges. Absolutely terrible book and annoyingly written. I think all the five star reviews for this book are fake. No good practical advice. Read the rational male by rollo Tomassi. It has much better content than this garbage.

Historia
In this controversial, hard-hitting account of today’s explosive market, Robert J. Shiller, a leading expert on market volatility, evokes Alan Greenspan’s infamous 1996 reference, “irrational exuberance,” to explain the alternately soaring and declining stock market. Shiller’s unconventional yet persuasive argument credits an unprecedented confluence of events with driving stocks to uncharted heights, and he analyzes the structural, cultural, and psychological factors behind these levels of growth not reflected in any other sector of the economy.

Interesting perspective
Revisado: 03-26-20
Interesting perspective for sure and a good solid rebuke of the state of identity politics. He treaded the lines very carefully and isn’t wrong on most but only a few small points. The ending was great as well.

Historia
You have a fulfilling job, a great group of friends, the perfect apartment, and no shortage of dates. So what if you haven’t found The One just yet? Surely he’ll come along, right? But what if he doesn’t? Or even worse, what if he already has, but you just didn’t realize it? Lori Gottlieb said the unthinkable in her March 2008 article in The Atlantic: Maybe she, and single women everywhere, needed to stop chasing Prince Charming and instead go for Mr. Good Enough.

Volume 3 not great models 1 and 2 great
Revisado: 05-15-19
Rollo this one doesn't measure up to the first 2. The first two books are classics and required reading. This lingered on a bit and almost sounded like a lot of bitching. The Sheryl Sandburg reference got tired and it was repeated at least 10 times. This just dragged on way too long but I grit my teeth and beared it for 20 hours
